Abstract

kedepan penambahan kapasitas sebesar 35.000 MW menjadi suatu
economic dispatch (ED), banyaknya unit pembangkit termal tentu
menibulkan permasalahan lingkungan akibat emisi NOx yang disebut
juga dengan economic emission dispatch (EED). Pada tugas akhir ini data
yang digunakan tanpa mempertimbangkan kerugian transmisi.
Permasalahan economic dispatch diselesaikan dengan menggunakan
metode Time Variying Acceleration Berbasis Particle Swarm
Optimization (PSO).

With economic growth projections of the Republic Indonesia by
6 to 7 percent per year as well as the center of economic and industrial
activity still in the area of Java - Bali. In the next five years by 35,000
MW additional capacity becomes a necessity, that number has been
confirmed in the document RUPTL PLN 2015-2024. In RUPTL
mentioned that the Java Bali system will be added some of generator unit.
With the addition of generating units and load growth, will change the
cost of generating electric energy, it is necessary to find a solution to
operate the generating units optimally to reduce the cost of fuel to a
minimum which is also called the economic dispatch (ED), the number of
units of thermal power plant would menibulkan environmental problems
due to emissions of NOx emission is also called the economic dispatch
(EED). The data that used in this final project are without considering
transmission losses. Economic dispatch problems solved using the
method called Time variying Acceleration - Based on Particle Swarm
Optimization (PSO). From the simulation results obtained using the EED
or ED with TVAC-PSO shows, that this method is superior to the
conventional PSO, in addition to showing the time convergent relatively
faster. The program will be simulated and displayed using Matlab
software
