Abstract

Sepeda adalah solusi untuk menciptakan transportasi yang
ramah lingkungan. Karena jarak antara jurusan di ITS cukup
jauh, ITS bermaksud membantu transportasi antar jurusan
dengan sepeda kampus. Atas dasar tersebut, pada tahun 2014
Laboratorium Perancangan dan Pengembangan Produk telah
merancang dan membuat sepeda multigender untuk civitas
akademika ITS. Dari hasil uji fungsi menunjukkan sepeda
tersebut masih belum stabil dan aman pada saat berbelok.
Demikian pula dari hasil uji ergonomi sepeda juga masih kurang
nyaman untuk dikendarai, karena dari responden wanita nilai
RULAnya masih ada yang 4. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan
pengembangan sepeda khususnya pada desain rangka yang baru.
Langkah- langkah penelitian yang dilakukan adalah
evaluasi sepeda multigender yang ada. Dari evaluasi tersebut
pada langkah awal dilakukan perubahan geometri rangka, yaitu
sudut head tube dari 80° menjadi 74°, dan wheelbase tidak
melebihi standar yaitu 1150mm. Selanjutnya dilakukan
perubahan profil rangka utama dari bentuk round square menjadi
ellips. Hal ini dimaksudkan untuk menambah kekakuan rangka.
Setelah itu dilakukan evaluasi resiko cedera pengendara, baik
laki- laki maupun perempuan dengan metode RULA (Rapid
Upper Limb Assessment) dengan menggunakan software CATIA
V5R20. Selanjutnya melakukan analisa kekuatan material,
khususnya analisa tegangan yang terjadi pada rangka utama.
Kemudian diakhiri dengan langkah membuat gambar detail
rancangan sepeda tersebut dengan software CATIA V5R20.

Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah rancangan sepeda ITS
dengan spesifikasi panjang total 1217mm dan tinggi 930mm.
Jarak antara wheelbase 1150mm, diameter roda depan dan
belakang sama yaitu 670mm. Sudut headtube rangka 74°. Dari
analisa ergonomi menunjukkan bahwa nilai dari RULA pria dan
wanita adalah 3. Rangka utama sepeda ITS terbuat dari material
A ST45 berbentuk elips mampu menahan beban 100kg, dimana
tegangan maksimum yang terjadi dari hasil analisa dengan
menggunakan software CATIA V5R20 sebesar 57,8 MPa, lebih
kecil daripada tegangan ijin material A ST45 sebesar 60MPa.
Kemudian didapatkan perancangan proses manufaktur dan
perakitan rangka, serta perakitan rancangan sepeda.

The bike is the solution to creating an environmentally
friendly transport. Because the distance between the departments
in ITS far enough away, ITS meant to help transportation between
campus by bicycle Department. On the basis of the
aforementioned, in 2014 the laboratory design and product
development have been designing and making the bike
multigender for civitas academica ITS. From the results of the
test function demonstrates the bike is still not stable and secure at
the time of the turn. Similarly, the results of the test bike
ergonomics are also less comfortable to drive, because of the
respondents women RULA value there is 4. Therefore it needs to
be done especially on the design of bicycle development order a
new one.
The steps research done is a bicycle evaluation
multigender. The evaluation of the first step done change the
geometry of the frame, i.e., the angle of the head tube of 80° to
74°, and becomes a wheelbase not exceeding the standard IE
1150mm. next conducted major order of profile changes the
shape of the round square became the ellips. It is intended to
increase the stiffness of the frame. After it's done an evaluation of
the risk of injury to riders, both men and women with RULA
methods (Rapid Upper Limb Assessment) using the software
CATIA V5R20. Further analysis of strength of materials, in
particular the analysis of voltage that occurs in the main frame.
Then ends with steps to make the bike design detail images with
software CATIA V5R20.

The results of this research is the design of the bike with
ITS specifications total length 1217mm and high 930mm. The
distance between the 1150mm wheelbase, front and rear wheel
diameter is the same i.e. 670mm. 74° headtube Angle order.
Analysis of ergonomics showed that the value of RULA men and
women is 3. The main bike frame ITS made of material with
elliptical A ST45 is able to withstand a load of 100 kg, where the
maximum voltage that occurs from the results of the analysis
using the software CATIA V5R20 of average 57,8 MPa, smaller
than the tension of the material permits A ST45 of 60MPa. Then
obtained the manufacturing and Assembly process design
framework, as well as Assembly design of the bike.
