Abstract

Dalam bidang konstruksi site layout merupakan hal yang sangat penting karena produktivitas pekerja sangat dipengaruhi oleh penataan site layout. Akan tetapi, perencanaan site layout sering sekali diabaikan dan hanya bersifat subjektif tanpa adanya kajian yang mendalam. Kegagalan dalam perencanaan site layout diawal merupakan penyebab utama dari tidak efisiennya pekerjaan di lapangan dan bisa meningkatkan biaya dan keterlambatan proyek. Oleh karena itu, sebelum menetapkan site layout suatu proyek harus memperhitungkan segala hal secara rinci, seperti letak masing-masing peralatan, akomodasi, tambahan area kerja, dan penyimpanan material. Proyek yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah proyek One East Surabaya, dengan menggunakan aplikasi bantu Ms. Excel, Variabel yang digunakan dalam mengkaji site layout yaitu travel distance . Travel distance adalah jarak total perjalanan yang dibutuhkan pekerja maupun alat berat dalam satu harinya. Dengan memperkecil travel distance dapat berimbas pada penghematan waktu dan biaya secara signifikan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah didapatkan 2 alternatif sekenario yang paling optimum. Site layout alternatife pertama memberikan nilai travel distance pekerja sebesar 66032,15m dan travel distance Tower Crane sebesar 10135,6m. Alternatife kedua memberikan nilai travel distance pekerja sebesar 67673,65m dan travel distance Tower Crane sebesar 9155,1 m. ===================================================================================================== Site layout is an important thing in the construction field because the arrangement of site layout affects on worker productivity. Yet, the planning of site layout is often ignored and it is only in subjective form without deep inspection. Failure in site layout planning in the beginning of project is a main cause of working inefficiency in field and can increase the cost and spent more times. Therefore, the constructor must calculate everything in detail such as, placement of equipment, accommodation, addition of work areas, and material storage before deciding a site layout of project. The chosen project in this study was One East Surabaya project and it used Microsoft Excel as the helping application. Variable that used to explore site layout in this study was travel distance. Travel distance is a total distance that needed by worker or heavy equipment in a single day. Decreasing travel distance can affect into saving time and cost significantly. There was 2 most optimal alternative scenarios that appeared as the result of the study. The first site layout alternative gave 66032.15 m as the worker travel distance score and it gave 10135.6 m as the Tower Crane travel distance score. In the second alternative, the worker travel distance score that appeared was 67673.65 m and 9155.1 m as the Tower Crane travel distance score
