Abstract

========================================================================================Indonesia as a country with a tropical climate has a lot of potential energy that can be used as a source of renewable energy. Utilization of energy as stipulated in Presidential Decree no 5 of 2006 on national energy policy, Indonesia has a target of reducing energy derived from petroleum are converted into renewable energy. The government began to promote research on new renewable energy in its efforts to encourage the realization of it. One potential forms of energy used in the research of new renewable energy is the flow of water. In the world of power generation, the water flow is widely used as an energy micro-hydro electricity. This micro-hydro schemes have drawbacks, namely the need for capacity tub to control the flow rate and the change in the turbine becomes a burden when the water flow decreases. The weakness pushed the study was conducted, with the hope of water flow energy can be absorbed optimally to be converted into electrical energy. Changes in the design of the turbine screw in the book's thesis shows that the water flow energy utilization efforts made to obtain an effective and efficient system both in terms of installation and maintenance. Design and manufacture of turbine is a modified form of the existing turbine screw into the screw turbine blades can change it’s angle. Sensor test found that the installation of turbines are not so reducing the pressure value on the system because the system only reduces the pressure of 0.0036 Bar. It found that increasing the angle of the blade, the water flow pressure the greater at the moment
