Abstract

Analisa pengaruh penambahan ion Sb3+ ke dalam kompleks
Fe(II)-fenantrolin dalam pH 4,5 dilakukan dengan metode
spektrofotometri UV-Vis. Metode diawali dengan pengukuran
panjang gelombang maksimum yang diikuti dengan pembuatan
kurva kalibrasi. Nilai panjang gelombang maksimum dicapai
pada 508 nm, dan kurva kalibrasi diperoleh dengan persaamaan
garis y = 0,1545x + 0,0051 dengan R2 = 0,9962. Pengaruh
gangguan dari ion Sb3+ dilakukan dengan mengukur absorbansi
kompleks Fe(II)-fenantrolin yang ditambahkan ion Sb3+.
Absorbansi terukur digunakan untuk mendapatkan nilai
persentase recovery. Didapatkan bahwa pada penambahan ion
Sb3+ sebesar 0.05 ppm, analisis Fe(II)-fenantrolin mulai
terganggu yang dibuktikan dengan didapatkannya persentase
recovery sebesar 75,54%

Analysis of the addition of Sb3+ ion to Fe(II)-phenanthroline
complexes in pH 4.5 is measured using UV-Vis
spectrophotometry method. The method started with the
measurement of maximum wavelength followed by calibration
curve determination. Maximum wavelength is 508 nm, and the
linear equation is y = 0,1545x + 0,0051 with R2 value 0,9962 to
use as calibration curve. To determine the extent of interference
from Sb3+ ion, the Fe(II)-phenanthroline complex with Sb3+ ion
added will have its absorbance measured. Measured absorbance
used to determine recovery percentage value. It was concluded
that at the addition of 0.05 ppm Sb3+ ion, it will start to interfere
with the Fe(II)-phenanthroline analysis with recovery percentage
as high as 75,54%
