Abstract

kerajinan bambu memiliki berbagai tahapan dalam proses produksinya, salah satunya adalah proses penyayatan. Pada proses tersebut masih melakukan penyayatan secara manual. Dengan menggunakan pisau dan tangan operator memerlukan tenaga yang besar dalam pengoprasiannya sehingga mengakibatkan hasil yang tidak seragam. Proses tersebut masih kurang efisien dan efektif yang mana hanya mampu memproses 2.700 sayatan dalam satu hari, dan juga masih jauh dari segi keamanan dan keselamatan kerja. Berdasarkan dampak negatif yang ditimbulkan pada proses manual penyayatan, maka dibuat mesin penyayat bambu semi otomatis dengan menggunakan sistem elektro pneumatik. Bertujuan menghasilkan konsep dan rancangan sistem yang efisien, mudah, presisi dan berkualitas pada mesin penyayat bambu serta menyusun standart prosedur operasional melalui perhitungan eksak. Sehingga menjadikan mesin penyayat bambu berbasiskan teknologi dan otomasi. ======================================================================================================= Bamboo craft production which has many steps in the making process, one of the process is cutting process. Still doing the cutting process in manual ways by using knife. By using this knife, the operator will need a great amount of energy to cut the bamboo and the cutting result is not uniform. Furthermore, those manual cutting process is not efficient enough as the operator needs one day to make 2.700 cut, and the safety factor from is far below the standart. According to the negative effect from those manual cutting process, semi automatic bamboo cutter machine with electro pneumatic control system is designed. The main purpose of this activity is to produce concept and system design that efficient, easy, precision and high quality bamboo cutter machine.The other purpose of this activity is to make standart operational procedure according to the exact calculation. So this bamboo cutter machine works based on technology and automation.
