Abstract

Proses Sedimentasi adalah pengendapan butiran sedimen dari kolam air ke dasar perairan. Di perairan yang menyangkut banyak kepentingan manusia seperti di pelabuhan dan kawasan pesisir. Dalam perkembangan operasional, BP Tangguh memerlukan adanya pekerjaan perawatan fasilitas jetty agar tidak terjadi sedimentasi pada sekitar jetty. Dampak dari sedimentasi ini akan menyebabkan pendangkalan sehingga mengganggu alur lalu lintas kapal. Tugas Akhir ini meneliti tentang laju sedimentasi yang terjadi di area jetty BP Tangguh yang dimodelkan dengan DELFT3D-FLOW dan memprediksi waktu perawatan pengerukan terhadap jetty. Pola transport sedimen yang terjadi di area jetty mengalami laju sedimentasi sebesar 0.3 m/s pada titik observasi 1 dan pada titik observasi 2 sebesar 0.08 m/s. Volume sedimentasi pada area jetty sebesar 2.5 m3 sehingga maintenance dilakukan pada tahun 2018

Sedimentation process is the deposition of sediment grains from the pool of water to the bottom waters. In the waters that involves many human interest such as in ports and coastal areas. In the development of BP Tangguh operations require their jetty facilities maintance work to prevent sedimentation at jetty. The impact of sedimentation will lead to silting that interfere with shipping traffic lane. This final project examines the rate of sedimentation in the jetty area BP Tangguh modelled with DELFT3D-FLOW and predict the timing of maintenance dredging of jetty. Sediment transport patterns that occur in the jetty area experienced a sedimentation rate of 0,3 m/s at observation 1 and observation 2 0,08 m/s. Volume of sedimentation on the jetty area of 2,5 m3 /day so that maintenance carried out in 2018.
