Abstract

Terdapat berbagai alasan dan pertimbangan yang mendasari pelaku perjalanan pada moda transportasi, pemilihan moda dapat diartikan dengan banyaknya orang dalam memilih setiap alternatif pilihan, akhir tahun 2013 pembangun kereta api aceh baru selesai 11,3 kilometer dan sudah di uji coba, jarak rute Lhokseumawe-Banda Aceh lebih kurang 276 kilometer yang saat ini pembangunannya sedang di lanjutkan, jika kereta api ini beroperasi nanti maka akan ada dua moda yang bersaing yaitu kereta api dan bus/minibus. Tujuan dari penelitian analisis pemilihan moda ini untuk mengetahui seberapa besar perpindahan penumpang dari moda transportasi berbasis jalan (bus/minibus) yang ada sekarang ke moda transportasi berbasis rel (kereta api) yang jika pembangunannya selesai nanti dengan rute Lhokseumawe-Banda Aceh, serta mendapat model yang dapat menjelaskan probabilitas pemilihan moda antara kereta api dan bus/minibus. Teknik Stated Preference digunakan untuk mendapatkan data mengenai kesediaan penumpang berpindah moda. Penyebaran kuisioner dilakukan di dua tempat yaitu Terminal Lhokseumawe dan halte Krueng Geukuh rute Lhokseumawe–Banda Aceh. Jumlah responden yang diambil untuk mewakili populasi yang dibutuhkan sebanyak 235 orang responden. Analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis regresi linier dan model pemilihan moda digunakan model logit biner selisih. Hasil analisis model logit biner pemilihan moda dengan variable-variabel selisih biaya, waktu, generalized cost, jadwal, akses, bedasarkan uji stasistik disimpulkan bahwa kelima faktor tersebut yang sangat berpengaruhi responden dalam memilih moda dengan R Square 0.803 adalah selisih generalized cost. Dari hasil analisis sensitivitas diketahui bahwa semakin kecil selisih biaya kereta api-bus/minibus, maka akan semakin memperbesar probabilitas memilih moda kereta api. ================================================================================================================== There are many reasons and considerations underlying the traveler in choosing the modes of transport. Mode of transport can be defined as how many people choose each type of mode of transports alternatively. At the end 2013, the construction of the railway in Aceh has just completed about 11.3 km and has been tested. The development is currently continued along the distance of Lhokseumawe-Banda Aceh about 276 km and if it is completely finished, there will be two competing modes, which is train and bus/ minibus. The aim of this study is to determine how is the passengers move their mode of transport from road-based (bus/minibus) to rail-based modes (train) and can be a model which may explain the probability on how to choose mode of transport, - in this case between rail train and bus/minibus. State Preference techniques has been used to obtain data on the willingness of passengers to change their mode of transport. The questionnaire had been distributed to 235 representative respondents in two places, which are Terminal Lhoksemawe and bus stop Krueng Geukuh in Lhokseumawe - Banda Aceh route. The analysis of binary logit model of binary difference has been used to analyze different variables namely cost, time, generalized cost, schedule. The result showed that all five factors greatly affects the respondents in choosing a mode of transport with R square is 0.803 as the difference of generalized cost. Sensitivity analysis explained that that the smaller the difference between the cost of rail train and bus/minibus, the more it will increase the probability of choosing railway mode.
