Abstract

Kondisi lalu lintas di Kota Makassar secara umum mengalami permasalahan kemacetan. Pada simpang empat Jl. Jend Sudirman – Jl. Lagaligo dan Jl. Syarif Al Qadri (Simpang I) dengan simpang empat Jl. Jend. Sudirman – Jl. H. Bau dan Jl. Monginsidi (Simpang II) kondisi lalu lintasnya padat. Analisa dan evaluasi kinerja persimpangan – persimpangan tersebut dilakukan mengacu pada Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (MKJI) 1997 dan program bantu KAJI serta dilakukan koordinasi antar simpang satu dengan yang lain. Kondisi eksisting didapatkan hasil Simpang I periode puncak pagi LOS D (tundaan rata – rata simpang 31,83 det/smp), periode puncak siang LOS E (tundaan rata – rata simpang 41,67 det/smp) dan periode puncak sore LOS E (tundaan rata – rata simpang 42,58 det/smp). Simpang II periode puncak pagi LOS C (tundaan rata – rata simpang 22,19 det/smp), periode puncak siang LOS D (tundaan rata – rata simpang 35,28 det/smp) dan periode puncak sore LOS E (tundaan rata – rata simpang 48,36 det/smp). Untuk rencana perbaikan, diperlukan perubahan fase dari 2 fase menjadi 3 fase dan didapatkan hasil Simpang I periode puncak pagi LOS C

The General problem in Makassar city is traffic jam. The intersection of Jend. Sudirman street – Lagaligo street and Syarif Al Qadri street (1st intersection) with intersection of Jend. Sudirman street – H. Bau street and Monginsidi street (2st intersection) have very traffic condition crowded. The analysis and evaluation for performing road intersections were related to Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (MKJI) 1997 and assist program KAJI. Than the intersection will be coordinated between intersections. The existing condition obtained from intersection period. The first intersection peak hour period in the morning LOS D (average delay time of intersection 31,83 sec/pcu), peak hour in the mid day LOS E (average delay time of intersection 41,67 sec/pcu) and peak hour in the evening period LOS E (average delay time of intersection 42,58 sec/pcu). The second intersection peak hour period in the morning LOS C (average delay time of intersection 22,19 sec/pcu), peak hour in the mid day period LOS D (average delay time of intersection 35,28 sec/pcu) and peak hour in the evening period LOS E
