Abstract

Arc flash salah satu kejadian berbahaya pada sistem kelistrikan industri. Energi yang hilang akibat kejadian ini akan dilepaskan melalui udara dan menuju ke fasa lain , netral atau menuju ke tanah. Kejadian ini sangat membahayakan bagi peralatan maupun pekerja yang berada di area terdampak energi arc flash. Salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan untuk mereduksi energi arc flash yaitu metode ZSI (Zone Selective Interlocking). ZSI adalah sebuah metode pengurangan energi arc flash yang efektif dan relatif murah. Fokus dari metode ZSI untuk mempercepat waktu tripping pada beberapa kesalahan tanpa mengorbankan koordinasi selektif dan interjecting gangguan ke dalam sistem. Dengan mampu lebih cepat membuka circuit breaker, pada kondisi short-circuit atau ground-fault. Tugas akir ini membahas perancangan koordinasi proteksi terhadap arc flash dengan menampilkan skema ZSI yang telah dikembangkan agar dapat meminimalisir energi yang hilang akibat arc flash, untuk memberikan perlindungan yang cepat, handal, dan sensitif. ======================================================================================================= Arc flash is one adverse event in industrial electrical systems. The energy lost due to these events will be released through the air and headed to another phase, neutral or heading to the ground. This incident is very dangerous for equipment and personnel in the affected areas arc flash energy. One method that can be used to reduce energy arc flash is a method ZSI (Zone Selective Interlocking). ZSI is an arc flash energy reduction methods are effective and relatively inexpensive. The focus of the ZSI method to accelerate time tripping on some errors without compromising selective coordination and interference interjecting into the system. By being able to more quickly open the circuit breaker, on the condition of short-circuit or ground-fault. This thesis explores the design coordination of protection against arc flash by displaying ZSI scheme that has been developed in order to minimize the energy lost due to arc flash, to provide protection that is fast, reliable, and sensitive.
