Abstract

Dumai memiliki keunggulan sebagai salah satu kota di Provinsi Riau yang berpeluang untuk memanfaatkan potensi pengembangan pelabuhan laut, dimana Dumai berada pada posisi lintas perdagangan Internasional Selat Malaka. Menyikapi pesatnya pertumbuhan pengapalan batubara dari pelabuhan Dumai, maka perlu dibangun dermaga baru dengan kapasitas muat yang cukup besar. Tujuan dari proyek akhir ini adalah untuk merencanakan struktur dermaga batubara berkapasitas muat 15000 DWT yang aman dan efisien. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan program bantu SAP 2000 dengan model 3D. Dari hasil analisis didapatkan dimensi dermaga 156 x 29 meter dengan dua buah trestle berukuran 9 x 120 meter. Struktur atas dermaga dan trestle direncanakan menggunakan material beton. Sedangkan bangunan bawah menggunakan tiang pancang pipa baja.

Dumai has advantages as one of the cities in Riau Provience that has an opportunity to exploit the potential of harbor development. It was because of Dumai is located in Selat Malaka International trade. In response to the rapid growth in coal shipments from the port of Dumai, it is necessary to built a new dock with larger capacity. The purpose of this final project is to plan the structure of coal jetty of 15000 DWT safely and efficiently. Analysis were performed using SAP 2000 program with 3D models. From the analysis we can get the dimension of coal jetty 156 x 29 meters and two nos of trestle with 9 x 120 meters long. The upper structure of coal jetty and trestle are planned using concrete materials. While the under structure using steel pipe piles.
