Abstract

Kedelai (Glycine max) varietas Grobogan merupakan produk unggulan yang di hasilkan dari lahan sawah. Namun, budidaya kedelai di lahan sawah menghadapi berbagai masalah, salah satunya cekaman genangan. Genangan merupakan kondisi jenuh tanah akibat kandungan air berada di atas kapasitas lapang sehingga menyebabkan penuaan dini. Hal tersebut di tandai dengan rusaknya jaringan daun (klorosis), kematian jaringan tumbuhan (nekrosis) dan terhambatnya pertumbuhan tanaman sehingga dapat menurunkan hasil produksi. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perubahan sifat fisik, kimia, dan biologi media pertumbuhan serta respon morfologi tanaman kedelai pada kondisi tergenang. Kedelai diberi perlakuan cekaman genangan selama 14 hari dengan konsentrasi genangan 0% (kontrol), 100%, 150% dan 200%, kemudian kedelai di panen dan dilakukan analisis sifat fisik, sifat kimia dan sifat biologi serta respon pertumbuhan tanaman kedelai. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa cekaman genangan mempengaruhi sifat fisik, kimia, dan biologi media pertumbuhan tanaman kedelai.

Grobogan varieties soybean (Glycine max) are superior product which produced in the fields. However, soybean cultivation in fields facing various problems such as puddle stress. Puddles is saturated soil conditions caused by exceess water content on field capacity that can causing premature aging. It is characterized by tissue damage on leaves (chlorosis), plant tissue death (necrosis) and inhibition of plant growth so that it can reduce production yield. This research intend to determine changes in the physical, chemical and biological on growth media and morphological response of soybean plants in waterlogged conditions. Soybeans gripped with puddle stress for 14 days with a concentration puddle 0% (control), 100%, 150%, and 200%, followed by soybeans at harvest and analysis of physical properties, chemical properties and biological properties as well as the growth response of soybean plants. Based on the results of research, the conclusion is conducted puddle stress affect the physical, chemical, and biological of soybean growth media.
