Abstract

Defisit produksi minyak kayu putih Indonesia selama ini dicukupi dengan melakukan impor dari negara lain dimana seharusnya Indonesia mampu memproduksi sendiri dengan potensi kekayaan alam yang dimilikinya. Diperkirakan pada tahun 2019 Indonesia memiliki permintaan minyak kayu putih sebesar 4500 ton dan harus melakukan impor sebesar 2000 ton. Dilatarbelakangi hal tersebut, dibuat rancangan pra desain pabrik minyak kayu putih dengan kapasitas produksi sebesar 150 ton/tahun. Menggunakan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) yang meninjau ketersediaan bahan baku, pemasaran, sumber energi listrik dan air, sumber tenaga kerja, aksesabilitas dan fasilitas transportasi, hukum dan peraturan, iklim dan topografi, dipilih Kutawaru, Cilacap, Jawa Tengah sebagai lokasi pendirian pabrik. Bahan baku yang digunakan pada pabrik minyak kayu putih adalah daun kayu putih. Berdasarkan Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI), spesifikasi produk minyak kayu putih yang dihasilkan diharapkan memiliki kandungan 1,8-cineole sebesar 50-60%. Proses produksi minyak kayu putih meliputi proses steam distillation, condensation, decantation, dan vacuum distillation. Dibuat sistem utilitas steam generation untuk memenuhi kebutuhan steam pada proses berupa superheated steam. Steam dihasilkan dari Boiler Feed Water (BFW) dengan bahan bakar berupa briket yang berasal dari limbah daun dari proses steam distilation. Analisis ekonomi dibuat dengan asumsi pemenuhan modal yang terdiri dari 60% modal sendiri dan 40% modal pinjaman, laju inflasi 3% per tahun, masa konstruksi dua tahun. Diperoleh hasil perhitungan Total Capital Investment (TCI) sebesar Rp 69.473.773.953, Working Capital Investment (WCI) Rp 46.046.229.261; Fixed Capital Investment (FCI) Rp 23.427.544.692; Total Production Cost (TPC) Rp 92.582.033.198; Internal Rate of Return (IRR) 32,2%; Pay Out Time (POT) 4,68 tahun; dan Break Even Point (BEP) 67,84%.

Indonesia's deficit in eucalyptus oil production has been fulfilled by importing from other countries. Indonesia should be able to produce its own by using its natural resources. It is estimated that in 2019 Indonesia will have a demand of 4500 tons of eucalyptus oil and should import 2000 tons. With this situation, a pre-designed eucalyptus oil plant design was made with a production capacity of 150 tons/year. Using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method with consideration of the availability of raw materials, marketing, electricity and water sources, labor resources, accessibility and transportation facilities, laws and regulations, climate and topography, Kutawaru, Cilacap, Central Java was selected as the location of the plant establishment. The raw material used in the eucalyptus oil plant was eucalyptus leaves. Based on the Indonesian National Standard (SNI), the specifications of the eucalyptus oil product produced are expected to have a 1.8-cineole content of 50-60%. The process of eucalyptus oil production includes steam distillation, condensation, decantation, and vacuum distillation. Steam generation utility system was designed to meet the needs of steam in the process of superheated steam. Steam was produced from Boiler Feed Water (BFW) with fuel in the form of briquettes made from leaf waste from the steam distillation process. The economic analysis was made with the assumption that capital fulfillment consists of 60% equity and 40% of loan capital, the inflation rate of 3% per year, two-year construction period. Obtained the calculation of Total Capital Investment (TCI) of Rp. 69,473,773,953, Working Capital Investment (WCI) Rp. 46,046,229,261; Fixed Capital Investment (FCI) Rp. 23,427,544,692; Total Production Cost (TPC) of IDR 92,582,033,198; Internal Rate of Return (IRR) 32.2%; Pay Out Time (POT) 4.68 years; and Break Even Point (BEP) 67.84%.
