Abstract

Telah dibuat rancang bangun pembangkit listrik tenaga vortex berbasis basin kerucut. Variasi jumlah sudu yang digunakan yaitu 6 sudu, 3 sudu, dan 2 sudu. Variasi beban berupa resistor. Resistor yang digunakan adalah 1 kΩ, 15 kΩ, 20 kΩ, dan 25 kΩ. Debit air telah diperoleh dari 4 pompa yang digunakan, Debit tetap diperoleh sebesar 176,54 L/m. Rata-rata torsi maksimum adalah (0,704 ± 0,001) Nm dan rata-rata rpm maksimum sebesar (163,679 ± 0,001) rpm, sedangkan rata-rata arus terbesar diperoleh pada variasi 6 sudu dan 1 KΩ sebesar (2,258 ± 0,002) mA. Rata-rata tegangan maksimal dengan menggunakan resistor 25 KΩ dan variasi 6 sudu adalah (3,353 ± 0,002) V. daya maksimum diperoleh dengan menggunakan variasi 6 sudu dan resistor 1 KΩ dengan nilai yang diperoleh sebesar (5,157 ± 0,025) Watt.

Research of vortex based power plant design using cone basin has been finished. This research used turbine blade number variation. there are 3 variation : 6 blades, 3 blades, and 2 blades. This research used 4 variation of resistor. The variation are kΩ, 15 kΩ, 20 kΩ, and 25 kΩ. The debit of the water flow is constant at 176,54 L/m. The average of maximum torque is (0,704 ± 0,001) Nm and the average of maximum rpm is (163,679 ± 0,001) rpm. While the average of maximum current produced is (2.258 ± 0.002) mA by using 6 bladed turbine and 1 KΩ resistor. The average of maximum voltage is (3,353 ± 0,002) V by using 25 KΩ resistor and 6 bladed turbine and the maximum power produced is (5,157 ± 0,025) Watt by using 6 bladed turbine and 1 KΩ resistor.
