Abstract

Likuifaksi tanah
menyebabkan beberapa dampak salah satunya adalah deformasi tanah vertikal
(settlement).
likuifaksi akibat gempabumi. =========================================================================The city of Pacitan is located in the southern part of Java island which directly
adjacent to the Indian Ocean where there is a Java Trench located in which the
Eurasian and Indian-Australian plates collided. Based on its geological conditions,
Pacitan City is located on a plain with alluvial soil type which is a type of land that
has the potential for liquefaction due to its structure which is not yet compact and
rich in groundwater. Liquidity is a natural phenomenon where the soil experiences
a change in nature from solid to liquid due to increased soil pore water pressure and
reduced shear force which happen because of an earthquake. Soil liquefaction
causes several impacts, one of which is vertical land deformation (settlement).
Analysis to calculate settlement is done by the method proposed by Zhang et al.
(2002). Based on the calculation, an earthquake with an magnitude of 8.5 SR, 8 SR,
and 7.5 SR occurred settlement at the review site. Land subsidence occurred at all
points of the CPT drilling location for 8.5 SR and 8 SR and only occurred in 9 of
40 points at 7.5 SR. Visualization in the form of maps is carried out to find out the
area affected by settlement. From the map, it is known that Pacitan City has an area
with potential damage with varying degrees of damage that is mild, medium, and
severe when there is a settlement caused by liquefaction due to the earthquake.
