Abstract

Seiring dengan semakin berkembangnya industri kertas baik itu di segmen pulp ataupun paper, semakin banyak pula permintaan akan kebutuhan penunjang produksi. Kebutuhan sangat banyak terutama pada consumable part. Doctor Blade merupakan salah satu consumable part yang ada dan selalu digunakan oleh industri kertas. Diperlukan sifat khusus dari material HDPE Doctor Blade, yaitu sifat ketahanan aus yang baik, karena pada pengaplikasiannya, benda ini akan secara terus menerus mendapatkan beban gesek. Sifat dari 〖Al〗_2 O_3 yang memiliki daya tahan yang baik terhadap abrasi, dapat bekerja di medan kerja yang memilki temperature tinggi, dan keras serta 〖Bi〗_2 O_3 juga diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi. Dikarenakan 〖Bi〗_2 O_3 ini adalah material keramik dengan tingkat kekerasan dan densitas cukup tinggi. Dari beberapa sumber, yang kemudian diolah dalam bentuk paper review, didapatkan hasil bahwa kedua jenis material tersebut dapat memberikan dampak yang baik terhadap sifat dari HDPE. Kekerasan yang ditimbulkan akibat pencampuran bahan aditih tersebut merupakan sebuah cerminan dari ketahanan aus. Kenaikan nilai kekerasan sejalan dengan kenaikan nilai dari ketahanan aus material HDPE, dan diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi material untuk manufaktur HDPE Doctor Blade. ========================================================= In line with the development of the paper industry, both in the pulp and paper segment, there is also a growing demand for production support needs. The need is very much, especially in consumable parts. Doctor Blade is one of the consumable parts that exist and is always used by the paper industry. It takes special properties of HDPE Doctor Blade material, namely good wear resistance properties, because in its application, this object will continuously get frictional loads. The properties of 〖Al〗_2 O_3 which have good resistance to abrasion, can work in work fields that have high temperatures, and are hard and 〖Bi〗_2 O_3 are also expected to be a solution. Because 〖Bi〗_2 O_3 is a ceramic material with a high enough hardness and density. From several sources, which were then processed in the form of a paper review, it was found that the two types of materials could have a good impact on the properties of HDPE. The hardness caused by the mixing of the additives is a reflection of wear resistance. The increase in the value of hardness is in line with the increase in the value of wear resistance of HDPE material, and is expected to become a reference material for manufacturing HDPE Doctor Blade.
