Abstract

Saat ini, konsep "bahan ramah lingkungan" telah menjadi sangat penting karena perlunya melindungi lingkungan kita. Definisi "bahan ramah lingkungan " harus mencakup bahan "aman" untuk manusia dan bentuk kehidupan lainnya. Review jurnal ini membahas terkait pengaruh proses hidrolisis asam terhadap morfologi dan nilai koefisien absorbsi suara. Setelah proses hidolisis asam, morfologi serat menunjukkan bentuk serat lonjong seperti jarum, yang menunjukkan bahwa lignin dan hemiselulosa telah dihilangkan. Serat Nanoselulosa dengan diameter terkecil yaitu 20-30nm dan panjang serat yang berukuran 160-400 nm didapatkan oleh proses hidrolisis asam dengan kadar H2SO4 65%, temperatur 45oC dengan waktu proses selama 1 jam. Proses hidrolisis asam dapat meningkatkan koefisien absorbsi suara karena dapat mengecilkan diameter serat. Penambahan nanoselulosa pada matriks dapat meningkatkan nilai koefisien absorbsi suara dari nilai 0,4181 menjadi 0,4262 pada frekuensi 2000 Hz dengan konsentrasi H2SO4 65%, temperatur 45oC dengan waktu proses selama 1 jam

Nowadays, the concept of "environmentally friendly materials" has become very important because of the need to protect our environment. The definition of "environmentally friendly materials" should include materials "safe" for humans and other forms of life. This journal review discusses the effect of the acid hydrolysis process on morphology and the sound absorption coefficient. After the acid hydrolysis process, the morphology of the fibers shows a needle-like oval fiber, which indicates that lignin and hemicellulose have been removed. Nanocellulose fibers with the smallest diameter of 20-30nm and fiber length of 160-400 nm were obtained by the acid hydrolysis process with 65% H2SO4 content, 45oC temperature, and 1 hour processing time. Acid hydrolysis process can increase the sound absorption coefficient because it can reduce the fiber diameter. The addition of nanocellulose to the matrix can increase the sound absorption coefficient value from a value of 0.4181 to 0.4262 at a frequency of 2000 Hz with a concentration of H2SO4 65%, a temperature of 45oC with a processing time of 1 hour
