Abstract

Barge atau tongkang banyak yang tidak beroperasi secara optimal dan bersandar dikarenakan kurangnya permintaan dan banyaknya kuantitas tongkang. Tugas Akhir bermaksud untuk melakukanan analisis teknis dan ekonomis desain konversi barge menjadi restoran. Pada pengerjaan analisis teknis, modifikasi tongkang dilakukan dengan melakukan pembuatan general arrangement restoran yang berawal dari general arrangement restoran, perhitungan freeboard, tonnage dan stabilitas kapal. Modifikasi yang dilakukan terdiri dari penambahan ruangan restoran di atas geladak daripada barge dengan kapasitas 180 pengunjung terbagi dalam 43 meja. Pada perhitungan freeboard menurut ICLL 1966, freeboard untuk restoran adalah sebesar 1.304 mm dengan sarat 3.576 m. Besarnya tonnase kapal setelah dikonversi adalah 2645 GT. Serta kondisi stabilitas kapal setelah dilakukan konversi telah memenuhi kriteria Intact Stability (IS) Code Reg. III/3.1 berdasarkan hasil running pada software Maxsurf Stability Advanced. Konfigurasi mooring system yang digunakan adalah spread mooring system dengan symmetric 4 line (45°) dengan masing masing panjang line adalah 60 meter. Besarnya biaya total konversi deck cargo barge menjadi restoran apung adalah sebesar Rp 24,334,538,240.92 dengan estimasi terjadinya BEP (Breakeven Point) pada tahun ke 8 operasional serta nilai NPV (Net Present Value) sebesar Rp 1,473,274,426.69 dan IRR (Internal Rate of Return) sebesar 13.7%

Lots of barge have been stopped operating due to the lack of demand and the large amount quantity of barges. This Final Project intends to analyze both technically and economically about converting barge into restaurant. In technical analysis, modification has been done with the design of restaurant’s general arrangement that originally came from barge’s general arrangement, calculation of freeboard, tonnage, and ships stability. Modification consists of the addition of restaurant’s room on top of the deck of barge with capacity of 180 visitors spread in 43 tables. Freeboard height of the ship is 1.304 mm with draft is 3.576 m, the ship’s tonnage is 2645 GT, and stability condition of floating restaurant fulfill the criteria of Intact Stability (IS) Code Reg.III/3.1. And then the mooring systems are using spread mooring system with symmetric 4 line (45°) with each line has 60 meters long using both wire rope mooring line and chain mooring line. Meanwhile, the economical analysis has been done to estimate the cost of shipbuilding. The cost of converting barge into restaurant is Rp. 23,465,447,589.46, with BEP estimation will be achieved in 8 years of restaurant’s operation with NPV valued at Rp. 1,473,274,426.69 and IRR valued at 13.7%
