Abstract

Sebagai negara agraris dengan ketersediaan lahan pertanian yang luas, Indonesia diharapkan mampu mandiri berswasembada pangan. Dalam usaha untuk mewujudkannya perlu ditunjang oleh sektor lain yang mendukung sektor pertanian, antara lain industri pupuk. Pupuk merupakan material yang ditambahkan pada tanaman untuk mencukupi kebutuhan hara. Unsur N, P, dan K adalah unsur tambahan yang paling dibutuhkan oleh tanaman melalui pupuk. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan perancangan pabrik pupuk NPK dengan kapasitas produksi 360.000 ton/tahun. Perancangan pupuk NPK ini dimaksudkan untuk memenuhi 10% kebutuhan pupuk NPK yang diperkirakan akan meningkat sebesar 3.552.579 ton/tahun pada tahun 2022. Pabrik direncanakn berdiri berlokasi di Kecamatan Ujung Pangkah, Kabupaten Gresik dengan pertimbangan kesediaan bahan baku dan utlitas yang memadahi. Tahap produksi pupuk NPK terdiri dari persiapan bahan baku padat, persiapn slurry, granulasi, pengeringan, penyaringan, pendinginan, dan pelapisan. Untuk mendirikan pabrik pupuk NPK diperlukan modal tetap (FCI) sebesar Rp 332.846.240.119,00 dan modal kerja (WCI) sebesar Rp 58.737.571.786,00. Dari perhitungan analisa ekonomi didapatkan niai Pay Out Time (POT) 4,03 tahun dengan Break Event Point (BEP) sebesar 51.01 % dan Internal Rate of Return sebesar 23,4%/tahun. Secara keseluruhan dari segi teknis dan ekonomis pabrik pupuk NPK dengan metode mixed acid route layak untuk didirikan.

As an agricultural country with a large amount of agricultural land, Indonesia is expected to be able to be self-sufficient in food. In an effort to make it happen, it needs to be supported by other sectors that support the agricultural sector, including the fertilizer industry. Fertilizer is an ingredient added to plants to meet nutrient needs. N, P, and K elements are additional elements needed by plants through fertilizers. In this study, an NPK fertilizer plant was designed with a production capacity of 360,000 tons / year. The design of this NPK fertilizer is to meet 10% of NPK fertilizer needs which are expected to increase by 3,552,579 tonnes / year in 2022. The factory is planned to be established in Ujung Pangkah District, Gresik Regency with consideration of the availability of adequate raw materials and utilities. The production stage of NPK fertilizer preparation is from solid raw material preparation, slurry preparation, granulation, drying, filtering, cooling, and coating. To set up an NPK fertilizer factory, it requires fixed capital (FCI) of IDR 332,846,240,119.00 and working capital (WCI) of IDR 58,737,571,786.00. From the calculation of the economic analysis, it is found that the Pay Out Time (POT) value is 4.03 years with a Break Event Point (BEP) of 51.01% and an Internal Rate of Return of 23.4% / year. Overall, from a technical and economic point of view, the NPK fertilizer factory using the mixed acid route method is feasible to establish.
