Abstract

Durian (Durio zibenthinus murr.) salah satu tumbuhan tropis
asli Asia Tenggara disebut The King of Fruit. Tanaman ini
menempati posisi ke-4 buah nasional dengan produksi, kurang
lebih 700 ribu ton/ tahun, banyaknnya minat buah durian sehingga
nilai jual cukup tinggi dan permintaan buah durian di pasaran
tidak pernah turun setiap musimnya. Salah satunya MDURR 88
yang berasal dari Malaysia yang di kembangkan oleh perkebunan
Agro Mulia untuk memenuhi permintaan buah durian di
masyrakat. Dengan metode prinsip dasar produksi tanaman
dengan energi sinar matahari menjadi energi kimia dan dapat
diambil dalam bentuk buah. Sehingga tujuan penelitian ini untuk
mengetahui korelasi kandungan klorofil terhadap hasil
produktivitas laju fotosintesis pada (D. zibethinus murr.) Klon
MDURR 88 pada bagian percabangan daun primer, sekunder dan
tersier menggunakan SPAD-502 (Soil and Plant Analysis
Development). Parameter yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini
yaitu kandungan total klorofil, nitrogen, laju fotosintesis, dan suhu
serta kelembaban. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik deskriptif
kuantitatif menggunakan software Microsoft Excel 2013 versi
1611. Hasil penelitian menunjukan kandungan klorofil SPAD-502
memiliki korelasi terhadap produktifitas laju fotosintesis dimana
daun bagian primer yang memiliki nilai tertinggi sebesar 64
SPAD/unit dan total klorofil tertinggi pada bagian primer sebesar
65 µg/mLˉ¹. Sedangkan laju fotosintesis tertinggi pada bagian
daun primer sebesar 13 µmol/ CO₂ mˉ²sˉ¹, namun kandungan nilai nitrogen tertinggi pada bagian daun tersier. hal ini dapat di
pengaruhi oleh faktor ekofisologi lingkungan seperti suhu dan
kelembaban sangat berpengaruh terhadap laju fotosintesis dalam
pembentukan klorofil dan menangkap cahaya matahari untuk
proses fotosintesis.

Durian (Durio zibenthinus murr.) One of the tropical
plants native to Southeast Asia is called The King of Fruit. This
plant occupies the 4th position of the national fruit with
production, approximately 700 thousand tons / year, the number of
interests of durian fruit so that the selling value is quite high and
the demand for durian fruit on the market never decreases every
season. One of them is MDURR 88 from Malaysia which was
developed by the Agro Mulia plantation to meet the demand for
durian fruit in the community. With the basic principle method of
crop production with sunlight energy into chemical energy and can
be taken in the form of fruit. So the purpose of this study was to
determine the correlation of chlorophyll content on the results of
photosynthetic rate productivity in (D. zibethinus murr.) MDURR
88 clone in the branching of primary, secondary and tertiary leaves
using SPAD-502 (Soil and Plant Analysis Development). The
parameters used in this study are the total content of chlorophyll,
nitrogen, photosynthesis rate, and temperature and humidity. Data
were analyzed using quantitative descriptive techniques using
Microsoft Excel 2013 version 1611 software. The results showed
the chlorophyll content of SPAD-502 had a correlation to the
photosynthetic rate of productivity in which the primary leaves had
the highest value of 64 SPAD / unit and the highest total
chlorophyll in the primary portion was 65 µg / mLˉ¹. While the
highest photosynthesis rate in the primary leaf section is 13 µmol / CO₂ mˉ²sˉ¹, but the highest nitrogen content is in the tertiary
leaves. this can be influenced by environmental ecophysological
factors such as temperature and humidity greatly affect the rate of
photosynthesis in the formation of chlorophyll and capture sunlight
for photosynthesis.
