Abstract
Kebaragaman kopi yang telah berkembang dengan sangat pesat dapat dilihat dari produksi dan konsumsinya yang semakin hari semakin meningkat. Indonesia memiliki berbagai varietas kopi dengan berbagai karakter, menjadikan Indonesia menduduki produksi kopi keempat di dunia. Sedangkan untuk tingkat konsumsi kopi di Indonesia, berdasarkan data International Coffee Organization (ICO) mencatat konsumsi kopi Indonesia periode 2016/2017 mencapai 4,6 juta kemasan 60 kg/lb (60 kg), berada di urutan ke-6 negara dengan konsumsi kopi terbesar di
dunia di bawah Rusia.
Berbagai varietas kopi yang beragam menjadikan eksistensi kopi Indonesia banyak dikenal masyarakat. Namun kecenderungan varietas kopi yang dikenal hanya kopi arabika dan robusta, sehingga varietas kopi di Indonesia yang lain kurang dikenal dengan masyarakat Indonesia. Salah satu kopi yang belum banyak
dikenal adalah varietas kopi excelsa. Padahal kopi excelsa memiliki karakteristik rasa yang unik dan dapat dijadikan sebuah potensi untuk memiliki eksistensi lebih. Salah satu kota yang memproduksi kopi ini adalah Kabupaten Jombang, tepatnya
di Desa Wonosalam. Kabupaten Jombang merupakan kota yang terkenal dengan pesona wisata alam perkebunannya, tetapi angka statistik wisatawan yang menurun menjadi suatu permasalahan yang akan diangkat dalam perancangan.
Perancangan ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan sektor pariwisata Kabupaten Jombang dengan menghadirkan arsitektur dalam konsep edukasi Kopi Excelsa Wonosalam dengan pendekatan biofilik dan penerapan metode arsitektur naratif.

The diversity of coffee that grown-up very fast can be seen by the production and the consumption of coffee which increases day by day. Indonesia has many varieties of coffee with each characteristic that made Indonesia occupying the fourth biggest coffee production in the world. Based on the records of the
International Coffee Organization (ICO), the coffee consumption in Indonesia in the 2016/2017 period reach out 4,6 million sachets equal to 60 kg coffee, took the 6th position of the most biggest coffee consumption in the world, one position after Russia.
The diversity of coffee made the existence itself known in Indonesian community. However, the Arabica and Robusta coffee still best known compared to other Indonesian coffee varieties, one of them is Excela coffee. While this coffee has a unique taste that can be the potential of their existence. One of the cities that produced this coffee is Jombang City, precisely located in the Wonosalam Village. Jombang City is well known for the natural farm tourism, yet the statistic of the
tourist decreased day by day will be the main problem of the design.
It is expected to increase the tourism sector of Jombang City with presented an education of Wonosalam Excelsa Coffee concept with biophilic approach and applied the narrative architecture method.
