Abstract

Bendungan Way Apu terletak di Kecamatan Waeapo, Kabupaten Buru, Provinsi Maluku. Kecamatan Waeapo dilalui oleh Sungai Way Apu. Kecamatan Waeapo termasuk dalam wilayah pertanian untuk Kabupaten Buru dengan penghasilan padi terbesar bagi Provinsi Maluku dikarenakan penduduknya yang sebagian besar bekerja pada sektor pertanian. Hasil produksi pertanian Kecamatan Waeapo meliputi padi, ubi-ubian, kacang-kacangan, dan lainnya. Kebutuhan air yang dibutuhkan pun harus tersedia sepanjang tahun agar tetap menjaga hasil produksi tidak berkurang. Fungsi dari bendungan tersebut adalah sebagai penyimpan air pada saat musim penghujan dan akan memanfaatkan air pada saat dibutuhkan, baik sebagai kebutuhan air baku maupun sebagai air irigasi. Bendungan Way Apu ini dilengkapi bangunan pelimpah (spillway) sebagai pelimpah air saat kondisi air banjir. Pada tugas akhir ini akan direncanakan alternative desain bangunan pelimpah (Spillway) yang lebih ekonomis dengan menggunakan Hidrograf ITS 2. Metode yang digunakan dalam perencanaan yaitu meliputi perhitungan curah hujan rencana dengan menggunakan Log Pearson Tipe III, debit rencana menggunakan hidrograf satuan sintetik ITS-2, analisa tampungan menggunakan lengkung kapasitas waduk, dan penelusuran banjir, serta analisa pelimpah dan kestabilannya. Dari perhitungan yang telah dilakukan diperoleh curah hujan rencana sebesar 809,959 mm, debit rencana periode ulang 1000 tahun sebesar 3820,28 m3/detik, dengan kapasitas tampungan efektif sebesar 12.030.617,40 m3. Mercu bangunan pelimpah menggunakan mercu tipe Ogee pada elevasi +122,75 dan elevasi muka air banjir pada elevasi +127,7. Lebar pelimpah direncanakan sebesar 160 m dengan tinggi pelimpah 9,5 m. Perhitungan stabilitas spillway aman terhadap gaya-gaya yang terjadi, baik dalam kondisi muka air normal maupun dalam kondisi muka air banjir. =================================================================== Way Apu Dam is located in Waeapo District, Buru Regency, Maluku Province. Waeapo District is traversed by the Way Apu River. Waeapo District is included in the agricultural region for Buru Regency with the largest rice income for Maluku Province due to its population which mostly works in the agricultural sector. Waeapo sub-district's agricultural production products include rice, tubers, beans and others. Required water needs must also be available throughout the year in order to keep production results not decreasing. The function of the dam is as a store of water during the rainy season and will utilize water when needed, both as raw water needs and as irrigation water. The Way Apu Dam is equipped with a spillway as an abundance of water during flood conditions. In this final project a more economical design of the overflow structure (Spillway) will be planned using the ITS Hydrograph 2. The method used in planning includes calculating the rainfall design using the Pearson Log Type III, the design discharge calculated using the synthetic unit hydrograph ITS-2, reservoir analysis using reservoir capacity curves, and flood routing, as well as overflow and stability analysis. From the calculations that have been carried out obtained rainfall plan for 809,959 mm, 1000 year return period discharge plan is 3820.28 m3 / second, with an effective storage capacity of 12.030.617,40 m3. Overflow structure uses Ogee type at +122.75 and flood water level at +127.7. The designed overflow width of 160 m with 9.5 m high overflow. The calculation of spillway stability is safe against forces that occur, both under normal water conditions and in flood water conditions.
