Abstract

Suatu proyek pengembangan perangkat lunak dikatakan baik jika menghasilkan produk yang berkualitas. Pengukuran perangkat lunak merupakan salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan kualitas produk perangkat lunak. Berbagai metode telah dikembangkan untuk membantu aktivitas pengukuran produk perangkat lunak. Proses pengukuran dapat menjadi lebih efektif apabila berorientasi pada tujuan tertentu. Salah satu metode yang selaras dengan pemikiran ini adalah metode Extended Goal Question Metric (Extended GQM). Extended Goal Question Metric merupakan suatu pendekatan berbasis goal yang didasarkan pada Goal Question Metric yang banyak digunakan dan menjadi standard praktis dalam pendefinisian kerangka kerja pengukuran. Secara umum, pendekatan Extended Goal Question Metric tidak jauh berbeda dengan Origin Goal Question Metric.
Tahap pengukuran perangkat lunak berbasis GQM bekerja melalui empat tahapan yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap definisi, tahap pengumpulan data dan tahap interpretasi. Dalam penelitian ini, tahap perencanaan merupakan tahap penentuan/pemilihan proyek yang akan diukur. Tahap definisi merupakan tahap pendefinisian pengukuran termasuk tujuan (goal), pertanyaan (question) dan metrik (metric). Masing-masing data goal, question dan metric yang tersimpan pada database kemudian direlasikan menggunakan suatu pembangkit GQM pada kakas pengukuran. Pada tahap pengumpulan data, data jawaban dari pertanyaan yang telah didefinisikan pada tahap sebelumnya didapatkan dengan metode kuesioner. Tahap interpretasi merupakan tahap ketika data diproses menjadi hasil pengukuran. Kakas pengukuran melakukan pemrosesan data dari jawaban kuesioner yang diinputkan pada sistem, kemudian sistem mendokumentasikan hasil pengukuran produk perangkat lunak dalam bentuk laporan hasil analisis ukur baik secara kuantitatif maupun kualitatif.
Hasil dari penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi berupa kakas pengukuran kualitas pada produk manajemen proyek perangkat lunak yang dapat digunakan sebagai acuan dalam mengembangkan dan meningkatkan kualitas perangkat lunak.

A software development project is said to be good if it produces quality products. Software measurement is one way to improve the quality of software products. Various methods have been developed to assist software product measurement activities. The measurement process can be more effective if it is goal-oriented. One method that is in line with this thinking is the Extended Goal Question Metric (Extended GQM) method. The Extended Goal Question Metric is a goal-based approach that is based on the widely used Goal Question Metric and has become a practical standard in defining a measurement framework. In general, the Extended Goal Question Metric approach is not much different from the Origin Goal Question Metric.
The measurement stage of GQM-based software works through four stages, namely the planning stage, the definition stage, the data collection stage and the interpretation stage. In this study, the planning stage is the stage of determining / selecting the project to be measured. The definition stage is the stage of defining measurements including goals, questions and metrics. Each of the goal, question and metric data stored in the database is then correlated using a GQM generator on the measurement tool. At the data collection stage, the answer data from the questions that had been defined in the previous stage were obtained by using the questionnaire method. The interpretation stage is the stage when the data is processed into measurement results. The measurement tool processes data from the answers to the questionnaires that are inputted into the system, then the system documents the measurement results of software products in the form of reports on the results of measuring analysis both quantitatively and qualitatively.
The results of this study contribute in the form of quality measurement tools in software project management products that can be used as a reference in developing and improving software quality.
