Abstract

Proses produksi listrik pada suatu pembangkit listrik tenaga uap (PLTU) ditunjang oleh beberapa peralatan utama dan penunjang yang beroperasi secara terus-menerus. Dalam operasionalnya setiap peralatan yang beroperasi memerlukan sistem pendingin. Close cooling system merupakan salah satu sistem yang berfungsi memastikan pasokan air pendingin dapat terus didistribusikan dan memastikan bahwa proses produksi tidak menyebabkan peralatan atau produk terlalu panas, yang mana dapat berakibat kerusakan pada peralatan dan mempengaruhi proses produksi akibat downtime perbaikan. Selain itu diketahui dampak dari tidak adanya air pendingin, suatu pembangkit dapat menyebabkan blackout atau shutdown yang tidak terjadwal. Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) merupakan salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan untuk menganalisis penyebab kerusakan, dampak yang ditimbulkan serta penentuan maintenance task yang sesuai dan efektif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi potensi kegagalan, menentukan maintenance task dan menentukan maintenance schedule yang optimal pada close cooling system pembangkit listrik tenaga uap (PLTU) dengan menggunakan RCM II sebagai guide line penulisan. Hasil analisa pada close cooling pump, heat exchanger, expansion tank, flow minimum valve dan level control valve didapatkan total 155 failure mode, dimana 73% dari total failure mode teridentifikasi sebagai evident failure dan 27% teridentifikasi sebagai hidden failure. Sedangkan hasil rekomendasi maintenance task didapatkan total 155 maintenance task dimana terdiri dari 5 kategori maintenance task yaitu schedule on condition task berjumlah 88 (56,77%), schedule restoration task berjumlah 38 (24,52%), schedule discard task berjumlah 20 (12,9%), schedule finding failure berjumlah 3 (1,94%) dan no schedule maintenance berjumlah 6 (3,87%). Hasil analisa dan rekomendasi maintenance task, ditulis dan dirangkum dalam work package tiap interval untuk dilakukan maintenance.

The process of electricity production in a steam power plant is supported by some of the main and supporting equipment that operate continuously. In operation every equipment that operates requires cooling system. The Close cooling system is one of the systems that functioned to ensure the cooling water supply can be continuously distributed and ensure that the production process does not cause the equipment or products to overheat, which can result in damage to the equipment and affect the production process due to downtime repair. In addition, it is known to impact the absence of cooling water, a plant can cause an unscheduled blackout or shutdown. Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) is one of the methods that can be used to analyze the cause of damage, impact caused and determination of appropriate and effective maintenance task. The purpose of this research is to identify potential failures, determine the maintenance task and determine the optimal maintenance schedule in close cooling system of steam power plant by using RCM II as a writing guide line. The results of analysis on close cooling pump, heat exchanger, expansion tank, minimum flow valve and level control valve obtained total 155 failure mode, where 73% of total failure mode identified as evident failure and 27% identified as hidden failure. While the results of the maintenance task recommendation obtained a total of 155 maintenance task which consists of 5 maintenance task categories. They are 88 (56.77%) of total failure mode recommendation to schedule on condition task, 38 (24.52%) schedule restoration task, 20 (12.9%) schedule discard task, 3 (1.94%) schedule finding failure and 6 (3.87%) of total failure mode recommendation to no schedule maintenance. Then the results of analysis and maintenance task recommendation are written and summarized in the work package of each interval for maintenance.
