Abstract

Daya saing antar industri yang tinggi di era globalisasi ini mendorong perusahaan untuk melakukan banyak inovasi pada produknya agar sesuai dengan permintaan konsumen dan mampu bersaing dengan perusahaan lainnya, salah satunya adalah peningkatan kualitas produk. Salah satu metode pengendalian kualitas yang digunakan adalah diagram kontrol. Pada penelitian ini menerapkan diagram kontrol Double Exponentially Weight Moving Average (DEWMA) dengan Modified Fast Initial Response (MFIR) yang dibandingkan dengan diagram kontrol DEWMA dan DEWMA Fast Initial Response (FIR) pada pengendalian kualitas produk pipa besi PT. Pasific Angkasa Abadi. Diagram kontrol DEWMA, DEWMA FIR, dan DEWMA MFIR adalah diagram kontrol yang memonitor data atribut maupun variabel untuk mendeteksi perubahan kecil dari proses industri. FIR dan MFIR adalah fitur tambahan yang digunakan dengan tujuan dapat lebih meningkatkan kepekaan dari diagram kendali tersebut dalam mendeteksi pergeseran rata-rata yang menyebabkan proses produksi menjadi out of control. Dari hasil analisa dan pembahasan, menunjukkan bahwa data cacat produk pipa besi belum terkendali secara statistik. Kinerja diagram kontrol DEWMA FIR dan DEWMA MFIR memberikan hasil yang lebih sensitif sebesar 3,64% daripada diagram kontrol DEWMA berdasarkan jumlah data yang out of control. ================================================================================================================== High competitiveness in the era of globalization is encouraging companies to make many innovations in their products to suit consumer demand and be able to compete with other companies, one of which is improving product quality. One of the quality control methods used is a control chart. In this study the Double Exponentially Weight Moving Average (DEWMA) control chart with Modified Fast Initial Response (MFIR) is compared to the DEWMA and DEWMA Fast Initial Response (FIR) control charts on the quality control of PT. Pacific Angkasa Abadi. DEWMA, DEWMA FIR, and DEWMA MFIR control chart are control charts that monitor attribute and variable data to detect small changes in industrial processes. FIR and MFIR are additional features that are used to increase the sensitivity of the control chart in detecting a shift in the average which causes the production process to become out of control. From the results of the analysis and discussion, it shows that the data on iron pipe product defects has not been controlled statistically. The performance of DEWMA FIR and DEWMA MFIR control charts gives more sensitive results by 3.64% than DEWMA control charts based on the amount of data out of control.
