Abstract

Hydroponics are plant processing without soil or a wide place. Used nutrient film technique (NFT) system for hydroponics used. NFT is a model of hydroponic cultivation with a continuous nutrition technique that is streamed using pipes and using a pump with recirculation technique in plants. Inside the tank is performed a pH neutrality process between the potassium input flow potassium dyhidrogen phosphate (KH2PO4) and ammonium nitrate (NH4NO3) on the hydroponic system. Through this final assignment, a draft EC control system using fuzzy PID, once obtained from a dynamic model the value of values used in the static model to determine the pH value. With the pH gained in the neural network of neural networks to obtain electrolyte conductivity (EC), after the design of the system is formed, tests of open loop and close loop are conducted. Starting from without a controller to PID and fuzzy PID. Obtained the value of the PID parameter of Kp = 0.1, Ki = 0.01, and Kd = 0. Obtained the result of a superior response characteristics in the fuzzy PID controller system, fuzzy PID almost has all the advantages of the edge of rise Time, faster settling Time, overshoot, IAE, and steady state error lower than PID, except for settling time at change 1500 µS/Cm.
