Abstract

Konteks: Perkembangan teknologi saat ini memengaruhi pembelajaran konvesional. Saat ini pembelajaran konvensional sudah dikombinasi dengan penggunaan sistem e-learning yang disebut dengan pembelajaran kombinasi. Dalam penggunaannya, terdapat faktor budaya dari penggunanya ketika menggunakan sistem e-learning. Permasalahan: Pengguna sistem e-learning memiliki latar belakang karakter budaya yang cukup beragam khususnya mahasiswa pengguna MyITS Classroom. Keberagaman karakter budaya, khususnya individualism/collectivism, ini dinilai memengaruhi penggunaan dan kesuksesan implementasi sistem e-learning. Tujuan: Penelitian ini menganalisis secara structural pengaruh dampak budaya yang diwakili oleh variabel Individualism/collectivism terhadap variabel-variabel yang ada pada model Information systems success yaitu user perceived satisfaction, use, individual impact, dan organizational impact terhadap kesuksesan implementasi system e-learning. Penlitian ini juga meningkatkan pencapaian indikator pada variabel laten yang berhubungan dengan dampak karakteristik buaya terhadap kesuksesan implementasi MyITS Classroom. Metode: Kuesioner disebar secara online melalui aplikasi-aplikasi messenger via group chat ataupun via personal dan juga secara offline dengan word of mouth. Dari hasil kuesioner ini akan dihubungkan dengan model penelitian. Model penelitian yang digunakan merupakan pengembangan dari information systems success model atau yang biasa disebut dengan model DeLone dan McLean (D&M). Variabel individualism/collectivism ditambahkan untuk menilai dampak karakter budaya terhadap penggunaan e-learning. Hasil: Penelitian ini menghasilkan hasil analisis dampak budaya terhadap kesuksesan implementasi MyITS Classroom berdasarkan model Kesuksesan Sistem Informasi. Dar hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan diketahui bahwa dampak budaya individualisme/kolektivisme pada mahasiswa tidak menjadi pengaruh moderasi pada penggunaan, kepuasan mahasiswa, maupun dampak individu pengguna MyITS Classroom. Ini dapat dilihat dari nilai T-statistik dari 3 hipotesis yang kurang dari 1.96. Nilai Tambah: Dari penelitian ini dapat diketahui bagaimana dampak budaya terhadap kesuksesan implementasi MyITS Classroom sehingga dapat memberikan rekomendasi kepada pengembang MyITS Classroom untuk meningkatkan faktor-faktor yang berperan penting dalam kesuksesan implementasi MyITS Classroom berdasarkan Model Kesuksesan Sistem Informasi. Currently conventional learning has been combined with the use of e-learning systems called combination learning. In the use of e-learning system, there is cultural factor which gives influence. Problem: Users of e-learning systems have quite diverse cultural characteristic backgrounds, especially MyITS Classroom users. The diversity of cultural characters, especially individualism/collectivism, is considered to influence the use and success of the implementation of e-learning systems. Objective: This study structurally analyzes the effect of cultural impact represented by the Individualism / collectivism variable on the variables in the Information Systems success model, namely user perceived satisfaction, use, individual impact, and organizational impact on the successful implementation of e-learning systems. This research also increases the achievement of indicators on latent variables related to the impact of cultural characteristics on the successful implementation of MyITS Classroom. Method: Questionnaires are distributed online through messenger applications by group or by persona chat. The results of this questionnaire will be linked to the research model. The research model used in this research is the development of the Information Systems Success model or commonly referred to as the DeLone and McLean (D&M) models. The individualism / collectivism variable was added to assess the impact of cultural characters on the use of e-learning. Results: The result of this study is analysis of cultural impact on MyITS Classroom’s implementation success based on Information System’s Success Model. From this study, we found that cultural impacts especially individualism/collectivism doesn’t have moderation effect on MyITS Classroom’s user use, user perceived satisfaction, and individual impact. This can be shown from the 3 hypotheses T-statistic value which less than 1.96. Value Added: From this research we know the influence of cultural impact on MyITS Classroom’s success thus the recommendation can be built for MyITS Classroom’s developer to improve factors which have important influence towards MyITS Classroom’s success based on Information System Success Model.
