Abstract

Sektor barang dan jasa dalam dunia industri semakin berkembang. Oleh karena itu perusahaan berlomba-lomba meng-hasilkan produk dengan kualitas yang baik. PT “XYZ” merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang pembuatan labelstock, release liner, dan adhesive tape. Dalam proses produk-sinya, PT “XYZ” berupaya untuk terus menjaga kualitas sehingga dapat menghasilkan produk bernilai tinggi sesuai permintaan pelanggan. Kualitas produksi labelstock dapat diukur dari daya rekat lem yang digunakan. Hal tersebut tentunya dipengaruhi oleh ketebalan lem pada labelstock. Dalam prosesnya, PT “XYZ” melakukan pengukuran ketebalan lem pada tiga titik pengamatan, yaitu dari sisi kanan, kiri, dan tengah. Perbedaan hasil pengukuran menimbulkan adanya ambiguitas sehingga perlu dilakukan pengendalian kualitas dengan metode yang tepat yaitu peta kendali fuzzy. Peta kendali fuzzy yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah peta kendali Fuzzy X-R dan Fuzzy Exponentially Weighted Moving Average (FEWMA). Hasil analisis didapatkan peta kendali FEWMA lebih sensitif dalam mendeteksi pergeseran proses dibandingkan peta kendali Fuzzy X-R. Pada peta kendali FEWMA didapatkan nilai pembobot optimum yaitu lambda = 0,1 dan didapatkan hasil bahwa proses belum terkendali secara statistik.

Goods and services sector in industry development continues to grow up. Therefor companies are competing to produce products of good quality. PT "XYZ" is a company engaged in the manufacture of labelstock, release liner, and adhesive tape. In the production process, PT "XYZ" strives to continue to maintain quality so that it can produce high-value products according to customer demand. The quality of labelstock production can be measured by the adhesive power used. This is certainly influenced by the thickness of the glue on the labelstock. In the process, PT "XYZ" measures the thickness of the glue at three observation points, namely from the right, left and center. Differences in measurement results give rise to ambiguity so quality control needs to be done with the right method, namely fuzzy control chart. Fuzzy control chart used in this research is Fuzzy X-R control chart and Fuzzy Exponentially Weighted Moving Average (FEWMA). The analysis result shows that the FEWMA control chart is more sensitive in detecting process shifts compared to the Fuzzy X-R. In the FEWMA control chart, the optimum weighting value is lambda = 0,1 and the results show that the process has not been controlled statistically.
