Abstract

Di Indonesia, salah satu jalur masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (PTN) adalah Seleksi Ujian Tulis. Seleksi ujian tulis tahun 2019 berbeda dari tahun-tahun sebelumnya. Perbedaan ini tidak memengaruhi jumlah peminat. Jumlah peserta yang mengikuti Seleksi Ujian Tulis pada tahun tersebut sebanyak 1.295.620 orang. Mata uji dalam Ujian Tulis ada kalanya berhubungan dengan mata kuliah yang ada di PTN, seperti mata kuliah yang ada di Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS). Dalam kurikulum 2019-2023, ITS menetapkan mata kuliah kategori Matematika dan Ilmu Dasar sebagai mata kuliah wajib seluruh mahasiswa ITS. Mata kuliah kategori tersebut beririsan dengan sub tes mata uji dalam ujian tulis sehingga menarik untuk diangkat menjadi topik penelitian. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang diduga mempengaruhi nilai mata kuliah kategori Matematika dan Ilmu Dasar mahasiswa ITS dengan Regresi Multivariat. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa skor kemampuan pengetahuan, skor fisika saintek, skor kimia saintek, dan fakultas mahasiswa merupakan variabel yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap nilai Matematika dan Ilmu Dasar. Koefisien determinasi dari model terbaik sebesar 95%. ======================================================================================================================== In Indonesia, one of the entry points for State Universities (PTN) is the Writing Test Selection. The written test selection in 2019 is different from previous years. This difference does not affect the number of enthusiasts. The number of participants who took part in the Writing Test Selection that year was 1,295,620 people. The test subjects in the Written Test sometimes relate to courses in PTN, like the course at the Institut Teknologi Sepeuluh Nopember (ITS). In 2019-2023 curriculum, ITS sets the subject categories of Mathematics and Basic Sciences as compulsory subjects for all ITS students. The category courses overlap with the sub test in the written test so it is interesting to be appointed as a research topic. This research was conducted to determine the factors that allegedly influenced the grade point of the Mathematics and Basic Sciences of ITS students with Multivariate Regression. The results of the analysis show that the knowledge ability score, physic science score, chemistry science score, and faculty of students are the variables that have a significant effect on Mathematics and Basic Science Scores. The coefficient of determination of the best model is 95%.
