Abstract

Kabupaten Tulungagung mengalami kekeringan di akhir tahun 2019, salah satunya adalah Desa Nglutung, Kecamatan Sendang, Kabupaten Tulungagung. Namun secara geografis, Desa Nglutung berada pada Formasi Gunungapi Wilis yang tersusun atas breksi gunung api, lava andesit dan tuff. Formasi ini diduga memiliki potensi air tanah yang baik. Oleh sebab itu, metode Vertical Electrical Sounding (VES) konfigurasi Schumblerger digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi air tanah di desa tersebut. Pengukuran dan analisa data VES dilakukan di 10 titik untuk mendapatkan nilai resistivitas bawah permukaan. Hasil analisa data menunjukan bahwa akuifer air tanah diduga terdapat pada lapisan batuan tuff dan breksi dengan resistivitas 1,97−114 Ωm pada kedalaman antara 0−84,35 meter, sedangkan lapisan kedap air dianggap sebagai lava andesit dengan nilai resistivitas 115−887 Ωm. Kedalaman akuifer air tanah ini sesuai dengan kedalaman sumur air tanah penduduk setempat. ============================================================== Tulungagung Regency experienced a drought at the end of 2019, one of that was Nglutung Village, Sendang District, Tulungagung Regency. But geographically, Nglutung Village is in the Wilis Volcano Formation which is composed of volcanic breccia, andesite lava and tuff. This formation has good groundwater potential. Therefore, the Vertical Electrical Sounding (VES) Schumblerger configuration method is used to identify groundwater in the village. Measurement and analysis of VES data were carried out at 10 points to get subsurface resistivity values. The results of data analysis show that groundwater aquifers contained in the tuff and breccias layers with a resistivity of 1.97−114 Ωm at depths between 0−84.35 meters, while the impermeable layer is considered an andesite lava with a resistivity value of 115−887 Ωm. The depth of the groundwater aquifer corresponds to the depth of the local groundwater wells.
