Abstract

Menonton tayangan berbayar di media elektronik adalah suatu hal yang baru bagi masyarakat Indonesia, didukung dengan perkembangan media streaming, pengguna internet yang semakin pesat kuantitasnya, serta pembayaran secara online yang semakin mudah dilakukan. Salah satu layanan media streaming yang sedang berkembang adalah Video-on-demand, yaitu sistem penyampaian konten video online dengan mekanisme pelanggan melakukan pembayaran untuk berlangganan atau berdasarkan apa yang ingin dilihat. Namun, dengan membayar tayangan yang belum diketahui kualitasnya, dapat memengaruhi intensi pelanggan untuk melakukan pembelian kembali jika tidak memenuhi ekspektasi diawal. Penting bagi perusahaan media streaming untuk mengetahui perilaku pelanggannya demi menjaga retensi pelanggan, sehingga perusahaan akan tetap bisa berjalan. ======================================================= Watching paid shows on electronic media is a new thing for the people in Indonesia, supported by the development of streaming media, internet users which are rapidly increasing in quantity, and online payment which is increasingly easy to do. One of the developing streaming media services is Video-on-demand, which is an online video content delivery system with a subscriber mechanism to make payments for subscription or based on what you want to see. However, by paying for a content which is the quality is still unknown, can affect the customer's intention to do a repurchase if it does not meet the initial expectations. It is important for streaming media companies to know the behavior of their customers in order to maintain customer retention, so that the company will still be able to run.
