Abstract

Kegiatan bongkar muat curah cair dengan kapal tanker pada umumnya dilaksanakan di dermaga melalui selang yang terhubung ke tangki di area pelabuhan dengan dibantu beberapa alat bongkar muat lainnya. Secara umum, kapal tanker memiliki ukuran yang lebih besar jika dibandingkan dengan kapal-kapal jenis lainnya. Sedangkan kedalaman rata-rata pelabuhan di Indonesia cukup rendah, bahkan sering mengalami pendangkalan. Akibatnya penyewa kapal kerap kali terkena denda demurrage karena terlambat dalam mengembalikan kapal. Sehingga diciptakanlah beberapa metode bongkar muat curah cair lainnya seperti menggunakan jetty, ship to ship transfer, single maupun multi point mooring, dan sebagainya. Akan tetapi permasalahan lain pun muncul dari masing-masing metode bongkar muat ini. Maka diperlukan inovasi metode bongkar muat curah cair yang mampu menepis berbagai permasalahan ini. Inovasi ini yaitu sebuah alat bongkar muat curah cair berupa barge. Dimana barge ini memiliki ukuran utama LOA ≈ LPP yaitu 14,50 meter karena bentuknya menyerupai kubus, lebar (B) 6,00 meter, tinggi (H) 2,40 meter, dan sarat (T) 1,00 meter dengan biaya pembangunan sebesar Rp20.306.522.348,39. Barge ini layak secara teknis dan ekonomis untuk segera dibangun. Karena biaya pembuatannya setara dengan demurrage cost selama tiga bulan, serta setara dengan provit dari tarif bongkar muat nantinya selama kurang dari satu tahun. ==================================================================================================================== Liquid bulk loading and unloading activities on tankers are generally carried out at the pier through a hose connected to the tank in the port area by several other loading and unloading equipment. In general, tankers have a larger size compared to other types of vessels. Meanwhile, the average depth of ports in Indonesia is quite low, even oftensilting up. As a result, ship charterers are often subject to demurrage fines for being late in returning the ships. So that created several other methods of loading and unloading liquid bulk such as using jetty, ship to ship transfer, single or multi point mooring, and so on. However, other problems arise from each of these loading and unloading methods. So it takes innovation in the method of loading and unloading liquid bulk that is able to cover off these problems. This innovation is a liquid bulk loading and unloading tool in the form of a barge. Which has a main dimention LOA ≈ LPP which is 14.50 meters because of its shape resembling a cube, breath (B) 6.00 meters, height (H) 2.40 meters, and draft (T) 1.00 meter with a construction cost of Rp20,306,522,348.39. This barge is technically and economically feasible to build immediately. Because the manufacturing costs are equivalent to the demurrage cost for three months, either as well as the provit of the loading and unloading rate later for less than one year.
