Abstract

Tingginya produksi besi yang dihasilkan dari konverter
oksigen, yang mayoritas berupa sludge konverter dan air limbah dihasilkan setiap tahun berupa bahan limbah. Pemanfaatan limbah hasil konverter oksigen dalam bijih besi perlu dilakukan sebagai upaya pengurangan emisi dan mengurangi penggunaan air bersih. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara kuantitatif dengan menandai karakterisitik sludge konverter melalui uji EDX dan
sinar-X (XRD). Hasil pengujian menujukkan bahwa besi oksida yang terkandung membungkus logam Fe dan pengotor lainnya (impurities).Pengaruh konsentrasi sludge konverter mulai pada granulasi hingga indeks sinter secara berurutan dipelajari dari beberapa jurnal yang dikaji mandiri. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa permeabilitas produk meningkat namun juga menurun, mencapai maksimum pada konsentrasi sludge konverter
40%. Perilaku perpindahan elemen berbahaya juga dipelajari. Salah satunya unsur Cl yang berperan penting dalam menghilangkan logam alkali. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengusulkan pemanfataan sludge konverter pada sintering bijih besi, yang akan membantu mengurangi emisi besi pada industri baja.

High iron production is produced from oxygen converters,
the majority of which are converter sludges and wastewater generated annually in the form of waste materials. Utilization of oxygen converter waste results in iron ore needs to be done as an effort to reduce emissions and reduce the use of clean water. This research was conducted quantitatively by marking the
characteristics of the converter sludge through the EDX and X-ray (XRD) tests. The test results show that the iron oxide contained metal wrap and other impurities (impurities). The effect of the concentration of the converter sludge from granulation to the sintered index are sequentially studied from several independent
study journals. The findings of this study indicate that the product permeability increases but also decreases, reaching a maximum at a 40% converter sludge concentration. Displacement behavior of dangerous elements is also studied. One of them is Cl which plays
an important role in removing alkali metals. This study aims to propose the use of converter sludge in iron ore sintering, which will help reduce iron emissions in the steel industry
