Abstract

Salah satu sensor yang digunakan dalam teknologi fuel injection adalah sensor oksigen. Seperti alat ukur lainnya, sensor oksigen bisa mengalami penurunan kemampuan pembacaan. Jika hal ini terjadi maka tegangan yang dikirim sensor oksigen ke ECU tidak sesuai dengan kondisi sebenarnya. Hal ini dapat menyebabkan performa mesin menurun. Untuk mengetahui kemampuan pembacaan sensor oksigen maka suatu alat diperlukan untuk mengkalibrasi sensor oksigen. Perancangan dan pembuatan alat kalibrasi sensor oksigen didasarkan pada kadar oksigen dari perhitungan gas ideal dengan prinsip volume tetap. Dengan mengukur nilai tekanan dan temperatur gas campuran nitrogen dan oksigen dalam tabung kalibrasi, maka kadar oksigen dapat diperoleh dengan menggunakan persamaan gas ideal. Pada penelitian ini telah berhasil dibuat alat kalibrasi sensor oksigen yang memiliki kapasitas pengukuran 0-22 % oksigen. Alat kalibrasi sensor oksigen memiliki tekanan operasi 1,5 bar dan temperatur operasi 27-29o C. Dari validasi yang dilakukan pada alat kalibrasi, diperoleh penyimpangan pembacaan 0,438 dengan kecermatan 6,34 %. =============================================================================================================== One of the sensors used in fuel injection technology is oxygen sensor. Similiar with other measuring devices, reading ability of the oxygen sensor declined. It gives different voltageto the ECU. This difference make the engine performance decreased. To determine the reading ability of the oxygen sensor, special tool is required to calibrate the oxygen sensor. Designing of the oxygen sensor calibration tool based on the precentage of oxygen in fixed volume with the ideal gas formulation. The precentage of oxygen can be determined by measuring presssure and temperature of the gas mixture of nitrogen and oxygen in the calibration can. This study has been successfully designed the oxygen sensor calibration tool which have measuring capacity 0-22% oxygen. This oxygen sensor calibration tool have operation pressure 1,5 bar and operation temperature 27-29o C. Based on the results of validation found the deviation value is 0,438 and the precision value is 6,34%.
