Abstract

Penelitian merupakan suatu hal yang sangat penting dan berpengaruh besar bagi kemajuan dunia modern. Indonesia sebagai negara berkembang dan negara dengan penduduk terbesar ke-4 di dunia, ternyata masih mengalami masalah dalam hal produktivitas peneliti. Ini bisa dilihat dari penelitian berkualifikasi S3 yang masih rendah. Padahal dengan sumber daya manusia yang banyak, seharusnya penelitian di Indonesia mampu bersaing dengan negara-negara lain. Untuk itu, dalam penelitian ini dilakukan pengolahan dan ekstraksi fitur menggunakan library Python Numpy dan Pandas berdasarkan hasil LDA Mallet 18 topik. NumPy (Numerical Python) adalah library Python yang berfokus pada scientific computing dan berfokus kepada array, yang mirip dengan list pada Python. Sedangkan Pandas (Python for Data Analysis) adalah library Python yang focus pada proses analisis data seperti manipulasi data, persiapan data, dan pembersihan data. Diharapkan hasil ekstraksi fitur tersebut dapat membantu sistem untuk memberikan rekomendasi pakar yang jauh lebih akurat serta dapat membantu kolaborasi antar peneliti di Indonesia. ================================================================================================= Research is a very important thing great influence for the progress of the modern world. Indonesia, as a developing country and the country with the 4th largest population in the world, is still experiencing problems in terms of researcher productivity. This can be seen from the low level of research with S3 qualifications. In fact, with a lot of human resources, research in Indonesia should be able to compete with other countries. For this reason, in this study, processing and feature extraction were carried out using the Python Numpy and Pandas libraries based on the results of Mallet's LDA 18 topics. NumPy (Numerical Python) is a Python library that focuses on scientific computing and focuses on arrays, which are similar to lists in Python. While Pandas (Python for Data Analysis) is a Python library that focuses on data analysis processes such as data manipulation, data preparation, and data cleaning. It is hoped that the results of this feature extraction can help the system to provide expert recommendations that are much more accurate and can help collaboration between researchers in Indonesia.
