Abstract

Adanya teknologi informasi memberikan kemudahan bagi manusia untuk
mendapatkan sesuatu yang efektif untuk menyelesaikan pekerjaannya secara efisien. Tidak
demikian halnya dengan pengelolaan administrasi di Universitas Islam Al-Asmarya (AIU)
Libya yang masih menggunakan cara manual meski menggunakan komputer dan layanan
internet. Layanan administrasi panjang dan data yang harus diinput berulang kali menjadi
kendala dalam melayani mahasiswa dan dosen serta berbagai kegiatan akademik lainnya.
Penggunaan internet hanya sebagai fasilitas tambahan dan teknologi informasi belum
menjadi media database utama untuk manajemen nilai, kurikulum akademik, mahasiswa
dan dosen atau lainnya. Kesulitan mahasiswa dan dosen dalam menginput dan mengakses
nilai, melihat jadwal perkuliahan dan jadwal mengajar merupakan beberapa permasalahan
yang dihadapi mahasiswa dan fakultas di AIU.
Menyadari hal tersebut, peneliti melihat perlunya penggunaan Sistem Informasi
Terpadu (IIS) di perguruan tinggi AIU untuk mendukung kinerja administrasi di lembaga
tersebut agar pelayanan akademik mahasiswa lebih efektif dan efisien. Untuk itu
pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui studi pustaka, perancangan metode penelitian, dalam
hal ini menggunakan analisis stakeholder yang didukung oleh pengukuran kinerja
berdasarkan Indikator Kinerja Utama (KPI) diolah dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan
hasilnya dilanjutkan dengan kuantitatif dalam statistik inferensial enggunakan SPSS 24.
Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah ditemukannya korelasi yang kuat
antara penggunaan IIS dalam menunjang kinerja administrasi di AIU sehingga dapat
dikatakan IIS memiliki peran yang sangat besar untuk kemajuan administrasi di lembaga
ini. Sehingga diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat dimanfaatkan oleh AIU untuk dapat
mengimplementasikan IIS di seluruh bagian perguruan tinggi sehingga dapat
diintegrasikan guna memudahkan pengelolaan dan pengembangan lembaga ini ke arah
yang lebih baik.

The existence of information technology makes it easy for humans to get something
effective to complete their work efficiently. This is not the case with the administrative
management at Al-Asmarya Islamic University (AIU) in Libya, which still uses the manual
method even though it uses computers and internet services. Long administrative services
and data that must be inputted repeatedly become obstacles in serving students and lecturers
as well as various other academic activities. The use of the internet is only an additional
facility and information technology has not become the main database media for value
management, academic curriculum, students and lecturers, or others. The difficulties of
students and lecturers in inputting and accessing grades, seeing class schedules, and
teaching schedules are some of the problems faced by students and faculty at AIU.
Realizing this, researchers see the need to use Integrated Information Systems (IIS)
in AIU colleges to support administrative performance in the institution so that student
academic services are more effective and efficient. For this reason, data collection is carried
out through literature studies, research method design, in this case using stakeholder
analysis supported by performance measurement based on Key Performance Indicator (KPI)
processed with a qualitative approach, and the results are followed by quantitative in
inferential statistics using SPSS 24.
The results obtained from this study were the finding of a strong correlation between
the use of IIS in supporting administrative performance at AIU so that it can be said that
IIS has a very large role in the advancement of administration in this institution. So it is
hoped that the results of this research can be used by AIU to be able to implement IIS in
all parts of the university so that it can be integrated in order to facilitate the management
and development of this institution in a better direction.
