Abstract

Rebana merupakan alat musik berupa gendang pipih yang terbuat dari kayu yang dibentuk bundar dan dipasangi kulit sebagai sumber bunyi. CV. Habib Ja’far merupakan industri rumahan yang memproduksi rebana yang memperhatikan hasil produksi dan bahan baku untuk meningkatkan kepuasan konsumen. Pada CV. Habib Ja’far produk yang memiliki defect produk tertinggi adalah produk rebana jenis al-banjari. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebagai upaya dalam mengurangi defect produk rebana al-banjari menggunakan six sigma. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control (DMAIC). Berdasarkan hasil pareto chart diketahui bahwa defect kritis yang terjadi pada rebana al-banjari terdapat 4 defect yaitu kayu retak sebesar 23.13%, kulit pecah sebesar 22.4%, kulit kendur sebesar 17.49% dan kayu pecah sebesar 17.41%. Berdasarkan hasil FMEA diketahui bahwa efek potensial yang memiliki nilai risk priority number tertinggi adalah variasi bahan baku dan terdapat efek potensial yang memiliki nilai 9 pada occurence sehingga dilakukan identifikasi juga terhadap metode pengerjaan tidak sesuai dan mesin bubut mengalami kegagalan. Rekomendasi perbaikan yang diusulkan meliputi mengadakan on the job training, mengusulkan standar operation procedure pada penggunaan mesin bubut dan proses penyatuan kulit dengan kerangka rebana (kluwung), melakukan pemeliharaan rutin pada mesin bubut dan melakukan inspeksi secara menyeluruh terhadap bahan baku yang datang dan inspeksi sebelum digunakan. Hasil penelitian ini dapat mengurangi defect kulit sobek sebesar 55%, kulit kendur sebesar 55%, kayu retak sebesar 55%, dan kayu pecah sebesar 60% serta menurunkan nilai cost of poor quality (CoPQ) sebesar 44% dan menurunkan cost of quality (CoQ) sebesar 11%. ===================================================================================================== Rebana is a musical instrument in the form of a flat drum made of wood which is formed in a round shape and fitted with leather as a sound source. CV. Habib Ja'far is a home industry that produces rebana that pay attention to production results and raw materials to increase consumer satisfaction. At CV. Habib Ja'far, the product that had the highest defect, was the al-banjari type rebana product. This research was conducted as an effort to reduce the defect of rebana al-banjari using six sigma. The methodology used is Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control (DMAIC). Based on the results of the Pareto chart, it is known that there are 4 critical defects that occur in rebana al-banjari, namely 23.13% cracked wood, 22.4% broken skin, 17.49% loose skin and 17.41% broken wood. Based on the results of FMEA, it is known that the potential effect that has a risk priority number value is the variation of raw materials and there is a potential effect that has a value of 9 on occurrence so that the working method is not suitable and the lathe fails. Recommendations for the proposed improvements include conducting on the job training, proposing standard operation procedures on the use of a lathe and the process of joining the skin with a rebana framework (kluwung), carrying out routine maintenance on the lathe and conducting a thorough inspection of incoming raw materials and inspections before use. The results of this study can reduce torn skin defects by 55%, loose skin by 55%, cracked wood by 55%, and broken wood by 60% and reduce the value of cost of poor quality (CoPQ) by 44% and reduce the cost of quality (CoQ) by 11%.
