Abstract

Phasor Measurement Unit (PMU).
jumlah PMU sebesar 84 %.

The smart electricity network, also known as the smart grid, is a form of
technological transformation and reform in the electricity industry. In order to
obtain the expected smart-grid performance, analysis results are needed that are
able to balance the dynamic conditions of the system. The data is implemented in
the form of the installation of measurement devices or also known as the Phasor
Measurement Unit (PMU). The problem becomes complex because many PMU
devices are required to be installed in the power grid. So that optimization is
needed to reduce the number and placement of PMUs that can control all
electricity networks.
This study discusses the optimization method to reduce the number and
placement of PMUs in distribution networks using the Integer Linear K-Means
method. This method is a combination of the Integer Linear method and K-Means
method. The advantage of this method is that it is able to analyze non-linear data
with a faster and more accurate iteration process. The Linear Integer Method is
used to generate data on buses installed by PMU and K-Means for the clustering
process.
The first stage is to create a simulation model using many optimized
PMUs on the Bendul Merisi distribution network with the Integer Linear K-Means
Clustering method with the aim of obtaining the optimum solution for placement
and the minimum number of PMUs installed. The second stage is the power and
voltage estimation on the bus that is not installed by the PMU using the ANFIS
PSO_GA hybrid modification method. The third stage is testing the hardware
simulation for the design in this study for offline and online data. The research
also conducted testing of the Java-Bali 500 kV transmission network.
The results of the study by applying the Integer Linear K-Means
Clustering method to the Bendul Merisi distribution network, from the 11 PMUs
that should have been represented, only 3 PMUs could be represented, resulting in
a reduction of 73%. For the estimation of voltage and power on lines that are not
installed PMU with the modified ANFIS PSO_GA method has an accuracy rate of
99%. Hardware simulation test results show good performance. The test results on
the Java-Bali 500 kV transmission network showed a reduction in the number of
PMUs by 84%.
