Abstract

Perusahaan CV. XY membuat konsep pengembangan model bisnis baru terkait pemanfaatan limbah kayu untuk mengatasi permasalahan pada sentra mebel Kota Pasuruan, yaitu penumpukan limbah serbuk kayu. Perusahaan ini mengembangkan bisnisnya dengan mendirikan usaha pengolahan limbah kayu menjadi wood pellet. Salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan untuk menganalisis pengembangan bisnis adalah metode Business Model Canvas. Business Model Canvas merupakan metode atau instrumen representasi visual yang dapat menjelaskan proses bisnis secara menyeluruh. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan model bisnis pellet kayu, dan memberikan rekomendasi terhadap model pengembangan bisnis pada perusahaan CV XY. Data dikumpulkan dengan wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi dan Focus Group Discussing (FGD). Data penelitian ini diolah dengan membuat matriks IFE dan EFE, serta analisis SWOT. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa pengembangan Model Bisnis Pellet di CV XY dengan menggunakan Business Model Canvas (BMC) adalah sebagai berikut: a) Value propositions, menciptakan produk limbah yang kurang bernilai menjadi produk bahan bakar berkualitas, mudah digunakan, efisien dan kontinyu; b) Customer segments yang sebelumnya hanya satu segmen, dikembangkan menjadi tiga jenis segemen yaitu berdasarkan skala, bidang usaha dan wilayah; c) Channels, sebelumnya hanya meliputi online channels dan offline channels; d) Customer relationships, melalui strategi kepuasan konsumen (customer satisfaction), yaitu kualitas produk dan pelayanan; e) Revenue streams, mengubah dari penjualan ke customer langsung, menjadi melalui agen, dan distributor; f) Key resources, limbah kayu terpilah berdasarkan jenis kayu; g) Key activities melakukan pemilahan limbah kayu untuk menciptakan varian produk h) Key partnerships, meningkatkan loyalitas pemasok, pembeli bekerjasama dengan pemerintahan (Pemerintah Kota dan atau Kabupaten, Pemerintah Provinsi, dan Pemerintah Pusat), menjalin komunikasi dengan Komunitas dan Asosiasi; i) Cost structures, menghitung biaya produksi sebagai dasar untuk menetapkan harga jual. ===================================================================================================== CV XY company made the concept for developing a new business model related to the use of wood waste to solve problems in Pasuruan furniture center, of the accumulation of sawdust. This company will expand its business by establishing a wood waste into wood pellets. One method that can be used to create business development is the Business Model Canvas method. The Business Model Canvas is a visual representation method or instrument that can explain business processes as a whole. The study is aimed at developing a wood pellet business model and provide recommendations for the business development model of CV XY. Research data were collected by interview, observation, documentation and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The data is processed by making IFE and EFE matrices, as well as a SWOT analysis. The results of the research show that the development of the Pellet Business Model at CV XY using the Business Model Canvas (BMC) have: a) Value propositions, creating waste products which mostly underrated into high quality, feasible, efficient and sustainable fuel products; b) Customer segments, which previously consist of one segment became three segments, which are based on scale, business field and area; c) Channels, which do not only consist of offline and one online channel into several online channels; d) Customer relationships, i.e. customer satisfaction strategies, i.e. product and service quality; e) Revenue streams, changing from sales to direct customers, through agents and distributors; f) Key resources are sorted by wood type; g) Key activities are done by sorting out wood waste to create product variants h) Key partnerships include increasing supplier loyalty, buyers, collaborating with governments (Cities, District, Provincial and Central Government), establishing communication with communities and associations; and i) Cost structures is done by calculating production costs as a basis for setting a selling price.
