Abstract

Lean merupakan suatu pendekatan yang dilakukan secara terus menerus untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengeliminasi waste atau aktivitas lainnya yang tidak memberikan nilai tambah. Banyak perusahaan yang telah mengimplementasikan konsep lean dan mendapatkan manfaatnya seperti pengurangan waktu siklus, pengurangan biaya, dan peningkatan kualitas produk. Meskipun memberikan banyak manfaat, terdapat beberapa kelemahan dalam implementasi lean, salah satunya akibat kurangnya monitoring. Dimana setelah implementasi awal, proses tersebut tidak pernah ditinjau dan jarang diperiksa untuk memastikannya implementasinya. Melakukan monitoring implementasi lean membutuhkan tool yang dapat membantu pekerjaan monitor lebih efisien. Belum ada tool yang secara spesifik dapat digunakan untuk mengkontrol dan mengawasi implementasi lean di perusahaan. Untuk itu, pada penelitian ini akan dikembangkan sebuah tool untuk memonitoring lean implementation. Tool yang dikembangkan mengadopsi logika dari beberapa metode yaitu Quality Function Deployment (QFD), Kerangka tiga matrix house pada implementasi lean, dan House of Risk (HOR). Lean monitoring tool ini digunakan untuk memastikan aksi perbaikan yang direkomendasikan pada implementasi lean benar benar dilaksanakan. Lean monitoring tool ini terdiri dari tiga matrix yang berfungsi untuk (1) mengidentifikasi dan mengelompokan potensi kegagalan saat pelaksanaan kegiatan untuk mereduksi pemborosan, (2) mengidentifikasi akar penyebab kegagalan dan (3) memberikan rekomendasi hingga solusi untuk menangani baik mengurangi peluang terjadinya atau menghindari munculnya akar penyebab kegagalan tersebut. Usulan Lean Monitoring Matrix kemudian diuji coba pada sebuah industri yang telah mengimplementasi Lean. Hasil dari uji coba menunjukkan bahwa tools ini dapat membantu perusahaan untuk memastikan implementasi lean bisa berjalan dengan lebih terarah. ================================================================================================ Lean is an approach that is carried out continuously to identify and eliminate waste or other activities that do not provide added value. Many companies have implemented lean concepts and have benefited from such as reduced cycle times, reduced costs, and improved product quality. Although it provides many benefits, there are several drawbacks to implementing lean, one of which is the lack of monitoring. Where after initial implementation, the process is never reviewed and rarely checked to ensure its implementation. Monitoring lean implementation requires tools that can help monitor work more efficiently. There are no specific tools that can be used to control and oversee lean implementation in a company. For this reason, this research will develop a tool to monitor lean implementation. The tool developed adopts the logic of several methods, namely Quality Function Deployment (QFD), a three-matrix house framework on lean implementation, and the House of Risk (HOR). This lean monitoring tool is used to ensure that the corrective actions recommended in the lean implementation are being implemented. This lean monitoring tool consists of three matrices which function to (1) identify and classify potential failures during the implementation of activities to reduce waste, (2) identify the root causes of failure and (3) provide recommendations for solutions to either reduce the chance of occurrence or avoid its occurrence. the root cause of these failures. The proposed Lean Monitoring Matrix is then tested in an industry that has implemented Lean. The results of the trials show that these tools can help companies ensure that their lean implementation can run in a more targeted manner.
