Abstract

Dinamika pembangunan yang pesat mendorong pertumbuhan kota dan meningkatkan konsentrasi penduduk di Kota Surabaya. Hal ini mendorong terjadinya transformasi spasial berupa proses densifikasi perkotaan. Wilayah Surabaya Timur adalah bagian wilayah dari Kota Surabaya dengan jumlah penduduk tertinggi khususnya pada tahun 2015 dan 2016, dibandingkan dengan wilayah lain di Kota Surabaya (BPS, 2016). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pola spasial wilayah Surabaya Timur terhadap adanya fenomena densifikasi perkotaan berdasarkan pendekatan Point Pattern Analysis. Dalam menganalisis fenomena densifikasi perkotaan, penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis Average Nearest Neighbor untuk melihat pola densifikasi perkotaan pada wilayah Surabaya Timur dengan menggunakan perhitungan yang mempertimbangkan jarak antar lokasi kejadian, jumlah titik lokasi kejadian, dan luas wilayah. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 31 kelurahan yang teridentifikasi mengalami densifikasi berdasarkan sudut pandang peningkatan kepadatan penduduk dan 21 kelurahan yang mengalami densifikasi berdasarkan peningkatan kepadatan wilayah terbangun. Terjadinya densifikasi perkotaan di wilayah Surabaya Timur dipengaruhi oleh beberapa variabel, antara lain: daerah rawan bencana genangan air, fasilitas kesehatan, jaringan telekomunikasi, jaringan jalur lingkar luar timur surabaya, jaringan air bersih, jalan lingkungan, penggunaan lahan industri, serta penggunaan lahan perdagangan dan jasa. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan
dengan menggunakan Average Nearest Neighbor melalui aplikasi ArcGIS 10.6, lokasi densifikasi permukiman di wilayah Surabaya Timur sepanjang tahun 2001 hingga tahun 2016 menghasilkan ratio Nearest Neighbor sebesar 0,270834 dengan jarak rata-rata (Expected Mean Distance) 240,7652 meter dan z-skor -28,655880. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa lokasi densifikasi permukiman di wilayah Surabaya Timur sepanjang tahun 2001 hingga tahun 2016 membentuk pola mengelompok atau bergerombol (Clustered Pattern).

The dynamics of rapid development encourage urban growth and increase population concentration in Surabaya. The
phenomenon of the continuous rapid population growth in
Surabaya will have direct impact on the increasing need for land. This encourages spatial transformation in the form of urban densification process. The East Surabaya is a part of Surabaya with the highest population. It was recorded between 2015 and 2016, the East Surabaya region experienced the highest increase in population compared to other areas of Surabaya City (BPS, 2016). This study aims to identify the spatial pattern of East Surabaya area against the phenomenon of urban densification based on the Point Pattern Analysis approach. In analyzing the phenomenon of urban densification, this study uses the Average Nearest Neighbor analysis method to see the pattern of urban densification in the East Surabaya area by using a calculation that considering the distance between the location of the events, the number events and the study area. The results of this study indicate that urban densification occurs in almost all urban villages. There were 31 urban villages that were identified as experiencing densification based on the perspective of increasing population density and 21 urban villages that experienced densification based on the increase of built-up density. The occurrence of urban densification in the East Surabaya area is influenced by several variables, including: waterlogging disaster-prone areas, health facilities, telecommunications networks, the eastern outer ring route network of Surabaya, clean water networks, environmental roads, industrial land use, and trade and land use. services. Based on the results of calculations using the analysis of the nearest neighbors
(Average Nearest Neighbor) using the ArcGIS 10.6 application, the location of settlement densification in the East Surabaya region from 2001 to 2016 resulted in a Nearest Neighbor ratio of 0.270834 with an average distance (Expected Mean Distance) 240,7652 meters and a z-score of -28.655880. This shows that the location of settlement densification in the East Surabaya region from 2001 to 2016 formed a clustered pattern.
