Abstract

Aplikasi streaming music di Indonesia sangat marak digunakan. Indonesia sendiri memiliki beberapa aplikasi streaming music, salah satunya adalah aplikasi NOICE yang diluncurkan oleh PT Mahaka Radio Integra Tbk pada tahun 2018. Sampai awal tahun 2020 aplikasi NOICE diunduh sebanyak 170 ribu kali. Berdasarkan ulasan yang diberikan oleh pengguna dan juga pengumpulan data awal didapatkan informasi mengenai usability aplikasi NOICE yang kurang memuaskan. Oleh karena itu pada penelitian ini dilakukan analisa terkait usability dari aplikasi NOICE lebih lanjut dengan menggunakan metode Heuristics Evaluation, System Usability Scale (SUS), Concurrent Think Aloud (CTA). Penelitian ini berhasil mengumpulkan 43 responden yang terbagi dalam tiga kriteria yaitu 3 expert, 20 experienced user, dan 20 novice user. Variabel dependent yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah task completion time dan error rate, sedangkan variabel independent yang digunakan adalah pengalaman responden dan task. Hasil penelitian yang ditampilkan diharapkan mencerminkan permasalahan yang diangkat mengenai usability. Dengan demikian diharapkan penelitian ini dapat menjawab permasalahan yang terjadi. ========================================================================================================= Music streaming applications in Indonesia are very widely used. Indonesia itself has several music streaming applications, one of which is the NOICE application launched by PT Mahaka Radio Integra Tbk in 2018. Until early 2020 the NOICE application was downloaded 170 thousand times. Based on the reviews provided by users and also the initial data collection, information about the usability of the NOICE application is not satisfactory. Therefore, in this study, an analysis related to the usability of the NOICE application was carried out using the Heuristics Evaluation method, the System Usability Scale (SUS), and the Concurrent Think Aloud (CTA) method. This study managed to collect 43 respondents who were divided into three criteria, namely 3 experts, 20 experienced users, and 20 novice users. The dependent variables used in this study are the task completion time and error rate, while the independent variables used are the respondent's experience and the task. The research results displayed are expected to reflect the problems raised regarding usability. Thus, it is hoped that this research can answer the problems that occur.
