Abstract

Situs arkeologi berupa struktur batubata yang diduga sebagai peninggalan dari zaman Kerajaan Majapahit ditemukan di Desa Kumitir, Kecamatan Jatirejo, Kabupaten Mojokerto. Kondisi situs yang sebelumnya terkubur menimbulkan pertanyaan mengenai penyebab terkuburnya situs tersebut. Oleh sebab itu diperlukan pendekatan teknis yang memanfaatkan ilmu kebumian untuk membantu perekonstruksian peristiwa masa lampau salah satunya dengan analisis lingkungan pengendapan menggunakan metode stratigrafi terukur. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dari pengukuran stratigrafi terukur. Pengukuran dilakukan menggunakan metode vertical profiling pada 14 singkapan yang tersebar di area situs. Data hasil pengukuran berupa kolom stratigrafi terukur yang meliputi ketebalan, litologi, grain size, deskripsi batuan yang mencakup nama batuan, warna, tekstur, dan struktur, koordinat singkapan dan foto singkapan. Digitalisasi menggunakan perangkat lunak SedLog 3.1 dan Paint 3D. Data yang telah didapat dimodelkan dalam 2-D dan 3-D dengan software RockWorks15 untuk mendapatkan penampang korelasi antar titik pengukuran dan mengetahui persebaran batuan. Selanjutnya dilakukan analisis fasies untuk setiap titik pengukuran. Pembagian fasies pada penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan yang mengacu pada Miall (1978). Fasies-fasies yang dihasilkan akan dianalisis lebih lanjut untuk ditentukan asosiasi fasiesnya dan menghasilkan interpretasi lingkungan pengendapan. hasil stratigrafi terukur, litologi di area Situs Kumitir terdiri dari batupasir (fine sand, medium sand, dan coarse sand), batulempung, konglomerat, dan tuff. Dari pembagian fasies berdasarkan Miall, didapatkan 7 fasies yaitu Gmg, Gt, Gh, Sm, St, Sp, Fm, serta satu fasies T serta 3 asosiasi fasies yaitu SG (Sediment Gravity Flows), FF (Floodplain), dan CH (Channel). Lingkungan pengendapan di Situs Kumitir diinterpretasikan merupakan lingkungan fluvial berupa endapan kipas aluvial. ================================================================================================== Archaeological sites in the form of brick structures that are thought to be relics from the majapahit era were found in Kumitir Village, Jatirejo District, Mojokerto Regency. The condition of the previously buried site raises questions about the cause of the site's burial. Therefore, a technical approach is needed that utilizes earth sciences to help the construction of past events, one of which is by environmental analysis of deposition using measurable stratigraphy methods. This study used primary data from measurable stratigraphic measurements. Measurements are carried out using vertical profiling method on 14 outs scattered in the site area. Data of measurement results in the form of measurable stratigraphy column that includes thickness, lithology, grain size, description of rocks that include the name of rocks, color, texture, and structure, coordinates of outcrops and photos. Digitization using SedLog 3.1 and Paint 3D software. The data obtained is modeled in 2-D and 3-D with RockWorks 15 software to get a cross-section of correlation between measurement points and know the distribution of rocks. Furthermore, fasies analysis is carried out for each point of measurement. The division of facies in this study uses an approach that refers to Miall (1978). The resulting facies will be further analyzed to determine the association of their facies and produce an interpretation of the precipitation environment. measurable stratigraphy results, lithology in the area of Kumitir Site consists of sandstone (fine sand, medium sand, and coarse sand), clay stone, conglomerate, and tuff. From the division of fasies based on Miall, obtained 7 fasies namely Gmg, Gt, Gh, Sm, St, Sp, Fm, and one fasies T and 3 fasies associations namely SG (Sediment Gravity Flows), FF (Floodplain), and CH (Channel). The deposition environment at kumitir site is interpreted as fluvial environment in the form of alluvial fan deposits.
