Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang pesat memacu masyarakat Indonesia untuk mengikuti perkembangan zaman dalam penggunaan smart devices dimana sudah mencapai pada titik 60% pengguna untuk smartphone. Pendapatan per kapita penduduk Indonesia pada 2019 mencapai Rp 59,1 juta. Sedangkan pangsa pengeluaran non-pangan di wilayah urban adalah sebesar 54,10%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat Indonesia di wilayah urban dinilai mampu membeli produk pemenuh kebutuhan lifestyle. Smart Portable Grill memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat Indonesia yang sudah tidak awam dengan smart devices, sehingga memudahkan baik dalam proses masak-memasak, meningkatkan interaksi sosial, dan kemudahan dalam mobilitas user. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah pengumpulan data dengan observasi dan wawancara, studi dan analisis, konsep desain, dan implementasi. Dari proses desain yang telah dilakukan, konsep yang dihasilkan adalah affordable, smart, portable, dan flexible ================================================================================================== The rapid development of technology has triggered Indonesian people to keep up with the growth of smart devices which has reached 60% of users for smartphones use. The per capita income of the Indonesian population in 2019 reached IDR 59.1 million. Meanwhile, the share of non-food expenditure in urban areas was 54.10%. This shows that Indonesians in urban areas are considered capable of buying products that meet their lifestyle needs. Smart Portable Grill fulfills the needs of Indonesians who are not unfamiliar with smart devices, making it easier both in the cooking process, increasing social interaction, and ease of user mobility. The method used in this research is data collection by observation and interviews, study and analysis, design concept, and implementation. From the design process that has been carried out, the resulting concept is affordable, smart, portable, and flexible
