Abstract

Latar belakang dalam suatu bisnis akan mengalami suatu perubahan. Karena organisasi selalu menghadapi berbagai macam tuntutan kebutuhan dan tekanan. Sebuah bisnis perlu memiliki strategi ketahanan yang baik untuk mampu bersaing. Namun saat ini, ketahanan tersebut tengah diuji oleh pandemi virus COVID-19 yang melanda bangsa Indonesia bahkan seluruh dunia. Adanya pandemi COVID-19 telah berpengaruh dan berdampak pada segala aspek kehidupan masyarakat global termasuk Indonesia. Penerapan kebijakan PSBB menimbulkan kerugian ekonomi, meningkatnya jumlah pengangguran, dan penurunan kualitas hidup masyarakat. Sehingga diterapkan kebijakan new normal untuk memulihkan ekonomi yang terdampak COVID-19 salah satunya di sektor makan minum. Komunitas bisnis kopi di Indonesia khususnya di Surabaya mengalami penurunan pendapatan dikarenakan kebijakan PSBB. Dalam mempertahankan suatu bisnis kopi di tengah pandemi COVID-19 membutuhkan strategi dan taktik yang sangatlah kuat. Dengan kondisi yang sangat krusial ini, maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk analisis strategi resiliensi organisasi pada suatu komunitas bisnis kopi di Surabaya di saat masa pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini merupakan model penelitian analisis deskriptif (multiple cross sectional) dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Untuk mencapai tujuan penelitian, maka teknik pengolahan dan analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan PLS-SEM. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner online yang disebarkan dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 64. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa crisis anticipation, organizational robustness, dan recoverability memiliki pengaruh yang positif pada social sustainability. Terdapat implikasi manajerial yang disusun untuk komunitas bisnis kopi di Surabaya dengan tujuan meningkatkan dampak pada bisnis mereka.

Background in a business will undergo a change. Because organizations always face various kinds of demands, needs and pressures. A business needs to have a good resilience strategy to be able to compete. However, currently, this resilience is being tested by the COVID-19 virus pandemic that has hit the Indonesian nation and even the whole world. The COVID-19 pandemic has affected and impacted all aspects of global community life, including Indonesia. The implementation of the PSBB policy causes economic losses, increases the number of unemployed, and decreases people's quality of life. So that the new normal policy is implemented to restore the economy affected by COVID-19, one of which is in the food and drink sector. The coffee business community in Indonesia, especially in Surabaya, experienced a decline in income due to the PSBB policy. Maintaining a coffee business in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic requires very strong strategies and tactics. With this very crucial condition, this study aims to analyze organizational resilience strategies in a coffee business community in Surabaya during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research is a descriptive analysis research model (multiple cross sectional) with a quantitative approach. To achieve the research objectives, the data processing and analysis techniques in this study used descriptive analysis and PLS-SEM. Data was collected using an online questionnaire that was distributed with a total of 64 respondents. The results show that crisis anticipation, organizational robustness, and recoverability have a positive influence on social sustainability. There are managerial implications structured for the coffee business community in Surabaya with the aim of increasing the impact on their business.
