Abstract

Suspensi merupakan suatu system pada kendaraan yang berfungsi untuk stabilitas dan kenyamanan dari kendaraan tersebut. Selain itu suspense berguna untuk mengoptimalkan kendaraan dalam bermanufer, sehingga dapat dikatakan bhawa kendaraan yang memiliki suspense baik makan akan lebih baik dalam bermanuver.
Dalam mendesain suatu system suspense, perlu dilakukan proses awal yaitu peletakan koordinat geometri suspensi agar komponen geometri suspense dengan komponen mobil lainnya contohnya chasis tidak salag bertabrakan. Selain itu dalam merancang juga dibutuhkan proses desain meeting atau proses dimana seluruh tim desain berkumpul untuk menentukan pletakan komponen masing masing divisi.
Proses pereancangan geometri suspense dilakukan pada software CAD, dan selanjutnya dari koordinat koordinat itu kemudian di import ke excel dan selanjutany dikirim ke software simulasi supensi. Didalam software simulasi suspensi inilah geometri yang telah didesain tadi di analisa apakah hasilnya sesuai dengan apa yang diinginkan atau tidak. Jika masih belum sesuai maka akan direvisi lagi desainnya.

In designing a suspension system, it is necessary to carry out an initial process, namely laying the coordinates of the suspension geometry so that the suspension geometry components with other car components, for example the chassis do not collide. In addition, in designing, a design meeting process is also needed or a process where the entire design team gathers to determine the placement of the components of each division.
The suspension geometry design process is carried out in CAD software, and then the coordinates are imported into excel and then sent to the suspension simulation software. In this suspension simulation software, the geometry that has been designed is analyzed whether the results are in accordance with what is desired or not. If it is still not appropriate, the design will be revised again.
