Abstract

Perubahan iklim memiliki banyak implikasi, antara lain meningkatnya suhu rata-rata global, berubahnya curah hujan dan naiknya permukaan air laut. Pertanian merupakan salah satu sektor yang terkena dampak akibat perubahan iklim. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan indeks kerentanan iklim sektor pertanian dan menentukan langkah adaptasi terhadap kerentanan terhadap perubahan iklim sektor pertanian di Kota Pasuruan.
Penelitian ini memiliki tiga tahapan, tahapan pertama yaitu pengumpulan dan analisis data sekunder berupa data bencana alam, curah hujan, tingkat pendidikan, jumlah lahan sawah, jumlah kelompok tani, jumlah penduduk miskin, dan jumlah keluarga yang bergantung pada sektor pertanian. Tahapan kedua yaitu penentuan tingkat kerentanan dan pemetaan kerentanan Kota Pasuruan pada sektor pertanian akibat perubahan iklim menggunakan perangkat lunak ArcGis. Penentuan tingkat kerentanan menggunakan perhitungan Climate Vulnerability Index (CVI) dengan tiga variabel penelitian yaitu indikator komponen keterpaparan (exposure), sensitivitas (sensitivity), dan kapasitas adaptif (adaptive capacity). Tahapan ketiga yaitu penentuan langkah adaptasi yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi dampak kerentanan sektor pertanian akibat perubahan iklim.
Indeks Kerentanan Iklim yang didapatkan dari hasil penelitian ini, yaitu untuk Kecamatan Gadingrejo sebesar 1,178, Kecamatan Purworejo sebesar 1,945, Kecamatan Bugulkidul sebesar 0,633, dan Kecamatan Panggungrejo sebesar 1,680, dengan langkah adaptasi dan mitigasinya dalam menghadapi kerentanan pada sektor pertanian akibat perubahan iklim di Kecamatan Bugulkidul, Kota Pasuruan, yaitu mengoptimalkan lahan sawah, melakukan penyuluhan pada pelaku usaha sektor pertanian, memberi wawasan adaptasi perubahan iklim, sosialisasi metode rainwater harvesting untuk menampung air hujan saat curah hujan tinggi, membangun drainase, dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat dengan membuka lapangan pekerjaan baru serta memiliki usaha selain sektor pertanian agar pendapatan utama tidak bergantung pada sektor pertanian saja.

Climate change has many implications, including increasing global average temperatures, changing rainfall, and rising sea levels. Agriculture is one of the sectors affected by climate change. This study aims to determine the climate vulnerability index of the agricultural sector and determine adaptation steps to vulnerability to climate change in the agricultural sector in Pasuruan City.
This study has three stages, the first stage is collecting and analyzing secondary data in the form of natural disaster data, rainfall, education level, number of paddy fields, number of agricultural counseling, number of poverty, and number of families who depend on the agricultural sector. The second stage is measuring the vulnerability index and mapping the vulnerability of Pasuruan in the agricultural sector due to climate change using ArcGis software. Determination of the level of vulnerability using the calculation of the Climate Vulnerability Index (CVI) with three research variables, such as indicators of the components of exposure, sensitivity, and adaptive capacity. The third stage is the determination of adaptation measures that can be taken to overcome the impact of the vulnerability of the agricultural sector due to climate change.
The Climate Vulnerability Index obtained from the results of this study, namely for Gadingrejo District of 1.178, Purworejo District of 1.945, Bugulkidul District of 0.633, and Panggungrejo District of 1.680, with adaptation and mitigation measures in dealing with vulnerability in the agricultural sector due to climate change in Bugulkidul District, Pasuruan City, such as optimizing paddy fields, providing counseling to agricultural sector entrepreneurs, providing insight into climate change adaptation, socializing rainwater harvesting methods to accommodate rainwater during high rainfall, building drainage, and improving community welfare by opening new jobs and having business other than the agricultural sector so that the main income does not depend on the agricultural sector.
