Abstract

Pegecoran logam merupakan bagian dari industri hulu dalam bidang manufaktur, terdiri dari proses mencairkan logam yang kemudian cairan logam tersebut dicorkan ke dalam rongga cetakan dan didinginkan hingga membeku. Membuat coran harus dilakukan proses-proses seperti pencairan logam, membuat cetakan, penuangan, membongkar dan membersihkan coran. Dalam pembuatan analisa ini, diawali dengan studi literatur dan lapangan. Pembuatan analisa proses pengecoran besi tuang untuk pembuatan manhole di PT. Aneka Adhilogam Karya meliputi perhitungan waktu tuang, berat benda, modulus coran, presentasi penyusutan, panjang pola untuk poros dari kup, panjang pola untuk poros dari drag dan menghitung total dimensi total dari pola poros pada kup dan drag. Dalam pembuatan analisa ini dibutuhkan waktu tuang 33,5 detik, presentase penyusutan 0,3333 %, dimensi pola pors dari kup 753,20 mm, dimensi pola poros dari drag 753,20 mm, dimensi total dari pola poros pada kup dan drag 1506,4 mm. ===================================================================================================== Metal casting is part of the upstream industry in manufacturing, consisting of a process of melting metal which is then the molten metal is cast into the mold cavity and cooled to solidify. Making castings must be carried out through processes such as melting metal, making molds, pouring, dismantling and cleaning castings. In making this analysis, it begins with literature and field studies. Making an analysis of the cast iron casting process for the manufacture of manholes at PT. Aneka Adhilogam Karya includes calculating the casting time, weight of the object, casting modulus, shrinkage presentation, pattern length for the shaft of the coupling, the length of the pattern for the shaft of the drag and calculating the total dimensions of the shaft pattern on the coupling and drag. In making this analysis it takes 33.5 seconds to pour, the percentage of shrinkage is 0.3333%, the dimensions of the porosity pattern from the coupling are 753.20 mm, the dimensions of the shaft pattern from the drag 753.20 mm, the total dimensions of the shaft pattern to the coupling and drag 1506, 4mm.
