Abstract

Bearing merupakan suatu komponen yang digunakan untukmereduksi suatu gesekan yang terjadi antara komponen yang saling bergesekan atau bergerak, dilakukannya pengujian bearing baja (steel) dan bearing keramik ini yaitu untuk mengetahui bearing mana yang mempunyai nilai daya lebih kecil sehingga nantinya dapat diaplikasikan pada mobil Nogogeni V untuk menunjang konsumsi energi yang lebih efisien. Pengujian bearing ini dilakukan pada poros roda mobil Nogogeni V yang dengan pengujian daya pada bearing baja (steel) dan bearing keramik dengan menggunakan uji dynotest serta perhitungan kerugian daya akibat gesekan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa bearing keramik memiliki kerugian daya yang relative lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan bearing baja (steel). Dalam perhitungan data pada bukaan katup 50% mampu mencapai 6.044 rpm dengan daya yang dihasilkan sebesar 6.49 watt. (tanpa pelumasan). Kata kunci : Daya, rpm, kerugian daya akibat gesekan. ======================================================================================================================== Abstract Bearing is a component that is used to reduce friction that occurs between components that rub against each other or move, testing steel bearings and ceramic bearings is to find out which bearing has a smaller power value so that later it can be applied to the Nogogeni V car for support more efficient energy consumption. This bearing test was carried out on the axle of the Nogogeni V car with power testing on steel (steel) and ceramic bearings using the dynotest test and calculating power losses due to friction. It can be concluded that ceramic bearings have relatively higher power losses than steel bearings. In the calculation is able to reach 6.044 rpm with a power generated of 6.49 watt (without lubrication). Keywords: Power, rpm, power loss due to friction.
