Abstract

Bangunan bertingkat merupakan salah satu alternatif untuk mengatasi keterbatasan lahan terutama di daerah perkotaan. Akan tetapi bangunan bertingkat juga diharuskan tahan akibat gempa. Struktur yang tidak tahan terhadap gempa akan menyebabkan kerusakan serta korban jiwa. Balai Latihan Kerja Pasar Rebo Jakarta merupakan gedung 12 lantai yang difungsikan sebagai pusat latihan kerja. Gedung ini menggunakan sistem balok-kolom dan dinding geser sebagai perkuatannya. Gedung dengan konstruksi flat slab memiliki keunggulan dibandingkan gedung yang menggunakan sistem balok-kolom pada umumnya. Keunggulan tersebut yaitu, tinggi bersih yang lebih besar, tinggi total bangunan yang lebih rendah, formwork yang lebih mudah, dan berat bangunan yang lebih ringan. Akan tetapi ada beberapa kelemahan pada sistem flat slab yaitu, hanya dibatasi hingga zona gempa menengah dan rentan terhadap kegagalan akibat geser ponds. Kegagalan akibat geser ponds merupakan hal yang sangat berbahaya karena kegagalan ini terjadi secara spontan. Hal tersebut dapat diatasi dengan menambahkan base isolation pada dasar bangunan dan menggunakan tulangan geser ponds pada pelat di tumpuan kolom untuk meningkatkan kapasitas geser pada flat slab. Base isolation merupakan alat peredam gempa yang biasanya digunakan dalam konstruksi gedung dan jembatan. Dengan menambahkan base isolation, periode getar struktur bertambah dan gaya gempa yang dialami struktur berkurang. Base isolation yang akan digunakan dalam modifikasi gedung Balai Latihan Kerja Pasar Rebo yaitu tipe laminated rubber bearing. Base isolation dengan tipe laminated rubber bearing yang umum dipakai yaitu, natural rubber bearing (NRB), lead rubber bearing (LRB), dan high damping rubber bearing (HDRB). Base isolation tipe high damping rubber bearing digunakan karena memiliki performa yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan base isolation tipe lainnya. Oleh karena itu gedung Balai Latihan Kerja Pasar Rebo Jakarta akan dimodifikasi menjadi struktur dengan sistem flat slab dan base isolation tipe high damping rubber bearing (HDRB). Untuk memperbesar kapasitas pelat terhadap geser ponds, akan diberikan penebalan pada pelat di sekitar kolom (drop panel). Perencanaan komponen struktur pada gedung Balai Latihan Kerja Pasar Rebo ini mengacu pada SNI 2847:2019, SNI 1726:2019, SNI 1727:2020, dan lainnya. =================================================================================================== High-rise buildings can be used to overcome land limitations, especially in urban areas. However, high-rise buildings are also required to withstand earthquakes. Structures that are not resistant to earthquakes will cause damage and loss of life. The Pasar Rebo Jakarta Job Training Center is a 12-story building that operates as a job training center. This building uses a beam-column system and shear walls as reinforcement. Buildings with flat slab construction have advantages over buildings that use beam-column systems in general. These advantages are greater clearance height, lower total building height, easier formwork, and lighter building weight. However, there are several weaknesses in the flat slab system, it is only limited to a medium earthquake zone and is prone to punching shear failure. Punching shear is a very dangerous thing because this failure occurs spontaneously. This can be overcome by adding base isolation at the base of the building and using head stud shear reinforcement to increase the shear capacity of the flat slab. Base isolation is an earthquake damper that is usually used in building and bridge construction. By adding base isolation, the period of the structure increased and the seismic forces experienced by the structure reduced. The base isolation that will be used in the modification of the Pasar Rebo Job Training Center is the laminated rubber bearing type. Base isolation with laminated rubber bearing types that are commonly used are natural rubber bearings (NRB), lead rubber bearings (LRB), and high damping rubber bearings (HDRB). High damping rubber bearing is used because it has better performance compared to other types of base isolation. Therefore, the Pasar Rebo Jakarta Job Training Center building will be modified into a structure with a flat slab system and high damping rubber bearing (HDRB). Design codes that are used in this building refers to SNI 2847: 2019, SNI 1726: 2019, SNI 1727: 2020, and others.
